Romney Immediately Distances Himself From Ryan Budget

They could just delete them...they are so damn far fetched and laughable

YEAH RIGHT, Ryan was just picked THIS MORNING..so how can Romney be backing away ALREADY

man you people are a joke who thinks the hufferpost is a serious source for information..

HuffPost is just reporting the facts.

The Romney campaign sent out talking points on Saturday that made the case that he was his own man on matters of Medicare and Social Security and that he wouldn't be tied to a document he insisted he'd sign into law and once called "marvelous."

If you can find something untrue about that statement, let me know.

yeah right, he sent out TALKING POINTS...you people can't be serious?

maybe you lefties take the hufferpost as truth, the rest of the people just laugh and skim over the link then to give them their business

Yes, the Romney campaign has sent out talking points. Is that hard to fathom?

Here's the one pertaining to this thread:

Internal Talking Points: Romney Will Push His ‘Own’ Budget Proposal,Not Paul Ryan’s Plan - ABC News

Gov. Romney applauds Paul Ryan for going in the right direction with his budget, and as president he will be putting together his own plan for cutting the deficit and putting the budget on a path to balance.

After calling the Ryan budget "marvelous" and saying he'd sign it into law, I'd say this new statement is the definition of "distancing oneself".

But, hey, Ryan is a political genius and just what the Romney campaign needs, right? So, why are you so concerned about it?:eusa_whistle:

Within minutes of tapping Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee, presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney was distancing himself from the congressman's controversial budget, which includes steep cuts to government programs and changing Medicare into a voucher-like program.

Do mods here merge threads? I posted this exact thing a few hours ago. It would be nice to consolidate discussion.

They do if the board gets loaded with a few and they are popular. Otherwise, no.

Oh lord, the let down is going to be so terrible for these people who somehow think Ryan is an asset to the Romney campaign. Today they are flying high, enough to actually feel optimistic, but within a week it will be all too plain that Ryan was a terrible move and a preview of just how badly Romney would pick his cabinet and various other appointments.

You edited that story...Here is the complete quote in context:

Homina homina homina

Mitt is not Joe Biden, he's not going to plagiarize Ryan's work. He will submit a budget that is closer to Ryan's than to Obama's

Paul "Ayn Rand" Ryan will serve a very useful purpose - to remind voters of the GOP WAR on the following:

Poor

Middle Class

Women

Obama
