Romney, HOLY CRAP

Political tides change often, but right now it seems pretty clear that the GOP is far less willing to build consensus than the Democrats. Our legislative branch is absolutely paralyzed by this behavior, while the ship is sinking.

.

And they'll change again or be voted out. There is a reason congressional approval rating is at an all time low. If our legislators don't start working together they're going to be looking for new work.

Amen to THAT.

.

good for him..Too bad your dear leader didn't know what a veto was by his Democrat controlled legislature..we wouldn't have that MONSTER Government PROGRAM your grandchildren will get to pay for, ObamaCare
of course the dear leader is proud to have your grandchildren on the hook for that...you all explain that one to them

Did you want to actually address my comment, or are you more interested in throwing up talking points? And bad ones at that.

I DID...but you love the rubber stamping obama did for his Democrat controlled legislature..so I'm done with you

You did, but you failed to recognize the irony of somebody boasting about Romney's "bi-partisanship" when he was anything but as gov of MA. 800 vetoes. Those are the facts. Changing the subject to "Obama is a socialist" is not going to change those facts.

This is so stupid. It won't let me quote the post I'm responding to because is says "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more." and, there is a URL in the quoted reply. So, my response is to Truthmatters, post #17, with the video of Mitch McConnell.

Right on! Excellent goal. As if that isn't the goal of the left, to make any Republican a one-term president? Sure it is...right? So, why should it be any different for Republicans' goal to be to make a leftist president a one-term president?

Here's the difference. Let's see if you're able to understand. The Democrat leader of the Senate didn't stand in front of tv cameras during the worst economic situation since the Great Depression and tell America that his single most important goal was, not to see that Americans get back to work, not that people struggling to find jobs get the help they need, but to see that Obama is a one term president. The man said it with a straight face and you gobbled it up like candy.

Well Josef, that's because getting rid of Obama is step ONE to fixing this mess and getting Americans back to work.

Looks like it's going to work, too...

 Right. Getting Americans back to work. You may not have noticed, but the private sector added 171,000 jobs in Oct, and the numbers for the previous two months have been revised upward, adding an additional 84,000 jobs on top of the previous figures.

Americans ARE going back to work. It's not a magic trick. It has nothing to do with Republicans. It's all thanks to Obama's policies.

Romney is very liberal.

The big difference is I know he loves America and has knowledge of economics.

Wasn't it conservatives that asserted that liberals do NOT love America and have no knowledge of economics?

If that so, and judging from what I've read here and elsewhere on the interwebs, they certainly seem to believe it as such.....what exactly does that make Romney?

That's neither better nor worse than what McConnell said about Obama. It's literally the exact same thing.

Working across the aisle is very simple. Show up. obama stopped showing up. Once he figured out that no one was going to immediately bow down to every whim and wish, he took his marbles and left the game permanently.

I'm listening to Romney right now, he's going to work with good democrats and good republicans who love their country. Now, unless democrats are relying on all democrats being bad democrats who hate the country (as obama does) there's a good chance of being able to work across the aisle.

Link it or it didn't happen. I'll wait...

Oh, what is your definition of a "good" Democrat?

Someone not completely blinded by and devoted to liberal ideology.

Robmoney pretends to be a moderate to get elected and then opperates hwoever he wants when elected.

That is called LYING to your voters to get elected.

Voters dpont like that.

That is why robmoney was hated by the people who elected him in his state.

The pattern will repete if hes elected.

He wont be

And YOU may not have noticed that...

1.) Most of those jobs are low wage, low benefit SERVICE jobs.

2.) Your 'revisions' to the previous months went DOWN 80K, not UP.

3.) Please elucidate a SINGLE 'Obama policy' that has helped the job market.

Romney will get no major support on any of his signature issues from Democrats just as Obama didn't from the Republicans. He'll get the small group of blue dogs (if they aren't extinct) and that's about it just as Obama got the odd votes from folks like Snow and Scott Brown etc.

Not expecting much else other than that. Everything is far too partisan and will continue to be.
