Romney Declines To Condemn His Campaign’s Organized Heckling

Why, is Obama paying hecklers?

Well yes, yes his campaign is. He's paying the guys more than the gals, you know that equal but separate thing.

"Good Jobs Now" is a PAC, and they're not part of Obama's campaign any more than Americans For Prosperity is part of Romney's.

That is not proof that the Obama campaign is paying anyone to heckle. They could very easily have been Romney plants.

Actually, if either of you had read the article, they were paid by a labor union.

So did Obama condemn them?? Did he tell them to stop??

What on Earth does any of this have to do withObama's double digit unemployment, worthless $, first U.S. credit downgrade in history, record numbers of Americans on public assistance, $16,000,000,000,000 of debt, record deficits, union bailouts, bank bailouts. Solyndra, Fast & Furious, etc.?

Do Obama and Romney "control" their PACs?

But is Obama denouncing these tactic? Has Obama denounced these people heckling Romney?

Think now, concentrate.

What should he "condemn" them for? What should he tell them to stop doing?

President Obama’s campaign has spoken out against heckling, and on Tuesday it condemned Mitt Romney for not doing the same thing.

Heckling has become a big part of Romney’s campaigning style, though Republicans by no means have the monopoly on supporters loudly trying to disrupt or annoy their opponents.

On Monday, Obama adviser David Axelrod called on a group of Ohio protesters heckling Romney to stand down, calling heckling “their tactic, not ours.”

In an interview with Fox News radio Tuesday, Romney said his supporters should continue to do what they want.

In the past, Romney has expressed pride in organized heckling put together by his campaign. When Axelrod held a press conference condemning Romney’s gubernatorial record on the steps of the Massachusetts legislature last month, a group of Romney supporters loudly booed and tried to disrupt the event.

Romney praised the protesters heckling Axelrod, and said they were organized by his campaign.

dumb ass.

Responding to Romney later Tuesday, the Obama campaign said it had sent a strong message to its supporters that the campaign should be about an open exchange of ideas, not drowning out the other side by heckling and crashing events.

"Campaigns are a reflection of their candidate," said Ben LaBolt, the Obama campaign's spokesman. "Mitt Romney has a different view, endorsing heckling."

Axelrod was heckled aggressively by Romney supporters during a news conference last month in Boston. Romney supporters also regularly drive a campaign bus around to Obama events and honk the horn repeatedly.

This sort of thing goes on all the time. Lots of homeless people get "jobs" where they just carry signs or engage in heckling.

Anti-Romney Protesters Say They're Paid To Heckle

Two protesters and an Obama official say “Good Jobs Now” protesters are compensated for their time. A protest leader denies it.

DeWitt, Mich. — The protesters popping up at Mitt Romney's rallies throughout Michigan Tuesday look like run-of-the-mill grassroots liberals — they wave signs about "the 99 percent," they chant about the Republican's greed, and they describe themselves as a loosely organized coalition of "concerned citizens."

They're also getting paid, two of the protesters and an Obama campaign official told BuzzFeed.

At the candidate's afternoon stop outside a bakery in DeWitt, a group of about 15 protesters stood behind a police barricade, a few of them chanting in support of Obama. Asked why he was protesting, a man dressed in a grim reaper costume pointed a reporter to a pair of "designated representatives" standing in the shade.

"I can't talk, you gotta get one of those people over there to talk to y'all," he said. "They're the ones who can talk to reporters."

Neither of the representatives agreed to give their names, but two protesters said they were getting paid to stand outside of the rally, though their wage is unclear: one said she was getting $7.25 per hour, while another man said they were being paid $17 per hour.

I was thrilled to hear this..........unlike that limpwristed John McCain who bent over backwards to be overly civil all the time.
Good for Romney..........conservatives will love it!!!

The claim wasn't that the people close to Obama are paying people to heckle Romney. It was that the Obama campaign was paying hecklers.

Looks like Axelrod did not get the memo that it IS the Democrats' tactic to heckle Romney.

Obama's command and control is breaking down.
