Romney Critical Of Government Aid That Helped Bain Profit

You don't think that Bain and Mittens lobbyed for those taxpayer handouts, that he's now against? You don't think that Mittens, should by some slim chance he wins, be giving those kinds of handouts to corporations? Answer honestly.

Did he lobby for those "handouts"? Link?
Isn't it the job of business to seek teh best deal for itself it can?
And there is the CON$ervoFascist hypocrisy out in the open for everyone to see.
It is the "job" of business to get the best deal for itself at taxpayers expense, but public sector union workers dare not do the same. CON$ervoFascist Corporatists hate the American worker, there is no denying it!!!!

Wrong again. You are the one who claimed it was the job of business to make profit at taxpayer expense.

I corrected you.
As I have shown over and over again, when CON$ervoFascists are caught lying, they just keep on lying.
Thank you.

You seem to be the one lying here. You cannot distinguish between what SF wrote and what you wrote. This marks you as having sub par intelligence.
You can't defend your CON$ervoFascist hypocrisy, so you make a feeble attempt to attack my intelligence.
Thank you.

Oh, my! That is some funny shit.

Romney should be thanking us little people for his vast fortune, after all, we underwrote it.

Almost every rich man (Who wasn't born to it) in history had the help of many people to attain that fortune.

Then he turned around and screwed them.

"All for me none for thee". It's in the bible.

I guess Mitt isn't really for free markets, if he ever was.

Still shaking that Etch-a-Sketch, Mittens?

Romney Critical Of Government Aid That Helped Bain Profit

Mitt Romney likes to say that “government does not create prosperity.”

His record in the private equity industry shows otherwise.

During Romney’s years as chief executive of Bain Capital LLC, companies owned by the firm received millions of dollars in benefits from a variety of state and local government economic development programs.

In California, taxpayer money built one Bain company a conveyor bridge between two of its buildings. New York City gave another Bain company tax breaks and lower energy bills to discourage it from moving to New Jersey. And in Indiana, a county government issued bonds to help buy new equipment for a Bain-owned steel plant -- a business success featured in a Romney campaign ad touting his private sector prowess.

Very weak attack! His company bid on a project and won. The city needed the bridge and his company built. The state didn't create the jobs, Bain did!

You are going to attack him for taking tax breaks and incentives! Who you libtards are really grasping at straws.

None of that is government creating prosperity, rather it a private business working within the system, if they didn't they would be out of business! I bet you don't have issue with Apple getting HUGE tax breaks to build their headquarters in CA? When Apple came to the city and demanded huge tax breaks to the point they would play little taxes to CA, CA at first balked so they stated and had plans to move to NV. CA balked over losing 1000s of high paying corporate jobs. Now Apple pays little CA tax, but the small businesses around they don't get the same treatment!

Once again, Romney proved to be able to run business successful, much better than a community organizer!

Your intelligence was not attacked. Your lack thereof was.
You don't even have the intelligence to use the quote function properly!:lmao:

Kinda like Obama?? With Reverend Wright?? His Grandma?? His Church?? We mustn't forget Rezko and Ayers??

Obama wasn't born rich.

He's actually an example of an American success..very much like Clinton.

So he was for it before he was against it?

So Joe, do you think that represents hypocrisy on Romney's part? Answer honestly.

Yeah, actually, I do.

Or I would if I thought Romney had any core convictions.

If he really thinks the problem is the Government is too intrusive and spends too much, then he shouldn't have been out there shilling for government dollars for his investors or to prop up the Olympics because he wanted his fellow Mormon Cultists to save face.

So did you support the Iraq war?

Are you not paying attention? I've said a bunch of times that I thought taking out Saddam was the right thing to do. (Although I think the execution was sloppy).

Please don't lump me in with a doctrinare leftist because I don't support your Mormon Robot. You're the one who sold out, not me.

We could get into a deeper conversation about how war profiteers like Haliburton have abused the system because we don't have the political will to draft people and have them do those service/support jobs.

OK.
Is there any government program that you oppose?
Because if there isn't then you're as much a hypocrite as Romney since you pay taxes to support the program.
It is not hypocrisy to benefit from a program even though you think the program is bad. That's all Bain did.
