Romney comes out with the most PATHETIC response to being Conservative in FL debate

Well if you watched the debate in Tampa last night--or didn't you didn't see this response from Mitt Romney over a question directed at him--about his definition of Conservatism.

He actually answers Brian Williams question with this response: Well I have had 5 kids--and when I ran against Ted Kennedy--(even though I lost)--Ted Kennedy had to get a 2nd mortgage on his house.

“I have a record,” he replied, but immediately added, “and the fun of running against Ted Kennedy, what a great thrill that was. I didn’t beat him, but he had to take a mortgage out on his house to make sure he could defeat me.

Now was this some kind of "money" threat to the other candidates on that stage? Maybe he does really believe that he can "buy" this nomination.
