Romney Camp: It's Horseshit that we think we're going to lose

A different take on the current mood in the Romney camp.

Quite different.



"It’s horses**t. Nobody in Boston thinks we’re going to lose. We’re in a tight race. We had a 4-5 point bounce after our convention and it evaporated when they had theirs.

Now they have a 4-5 bounce. It’s going to evaporate in September. We feel good about the map. We’re up with advertising in Wisconsin and I think North Carolina is going to come off the board. On Ohio, they’ve been spinning for months now that it’s out of reach."

And....
" PPP has these polls that just put chum in the water for the media.

Sometimes I think there’s a conscious effort between the media and Chicago to get Republicans depressed. And I hope our friends realize that all these media analysts out there are Democrats WHO WANT US TO LOSE.

Yeah, somehow we are to believe with the election just right around the corner, with millions of dollars of ad buys in the works, with the race having been neck and neck till the convention bounces, yessirree bob Mitt Romney's just going to throw in the towel.

I've seen Dems spin before but this one's a dooozy.

Unemployment over 8 percent, job creation abysmal, gas prices approaching $4.00 per gallon, Syria slaughtering thousands and Russia tells Obama to mind his own business and he says, yes sir, I could go on but it's clear that Valerie Jarrett has been a terrible president and needs to go back to Chicago and take Barack with her.

I doubt that anyone in the Romney campaign thinks they are definitely going to lose. You can't run a campaign thinking you are going to lose. But I do imagine they have a bit of a sick feeling in their guts right at the moment. The fact is that they need to stop the bleeding and turn things around soon, or it may well be lights out.
