I had forgotten until the other day that Romney's father, George, an erstwhile 1968 presidential candidate himself, was not actually born in the United States.

How, exactly, did his father run for President in 1968, if he was not born in the United States?

That right there kills the credibility of the blog poster.

He's not really an anchor baby but from what I read his father was born in Mexico, so that entitles him to dual citizenship if he claims it, I don't believe he has though.

He posted my comment on the page, and whined that he never said Romney's father was not a citizen, and used his running for President in '68 as proof.

Trouble is, if Romney's father WAS a citizen, then how could Ropmney be ab 'anchor baby' as he claims, since his parents were US citizens?
