Rasmussen was a weekly columnist for conservative news web site World Net Daily in 2000/2001. In some of these columns, as well as in a 2001 book titled "A Better Deal! Social Security Choice" and a presentation at the Cato Institute, Rasmussen advocated privatization of the Social Security program. Social Security reform had already been the topic of an article that he published in the Wall Street Journal in 1990.

Rasmussen has had Romney up for quite some time. This isn't some new news that should surprise us all. In the meantime, every other poll is coming back tied or with Obama up by one or two. It is all in the methodology of the polls. Democratic insiders and most media polls are using a larger ethnic pool of voters than Republican insiders or Republican leaning pollsters. We won't know which pollsters have the correct models until election day. If it's somewhere in between, then it's going to be ugly close.

When liberals and conservatives don't like whatever poll is sited they both like to shoot, who they perceive as the bringer of bad news. Why? because they can't refute the possibility they can be wrong.

But all polls are incomplete because they can't take into account the undecided who historically side with the challenger by a wide margin.

Ratmuffin has them tied at 48% today, no wonder Bishop Willard is panicking.

Eight states, with a total of 95 Electoral College votes, remain toss-ups and will determine the winner: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. All eight of those states were carried by Obama in 2008.

a friend works at an airport and has been asking people which way they lean, and 2/3rds have stated Romney. Not scientific, but they are speaking with people from all over the country and this is what is being said.

11/3/2012. Every poll aggregator, even the Republican leaning ones, call Obama at 270+ EV. And all of them have Ras and Gallup included in their averages. And the momentum is still all with Obama.
