Rodrigo Duterte Drug Policies Works

Duterte takin' care of the drug problem in the Philippines...
This maniacal purge has less to do with a drug problem than you've allowed yourself to be brainwashed into believing it does. And it would be pitifully naive to believe the social atmosphere, the political policies and practices it will engender will ever result in something along the lines of a healthy nation. Quite the opposite.

Duterte is employing the method used by Augusto Pinochet to subjugate the people of Chile in the late seventies -- unrestrained brute force. The drug problem motive for his radical action is a ploy, an expedient means to justify killing anyone.

Now that's a drug war.

That what means being tough on criminals.

We should do something like that in US with gun crimes.

Any crime that involves gun should carry mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison, for start, plus whatever crime itself would add to it.
In California its 10 years. Use a gun, ten year enhancement. But the judges will do anything not to give that sentence. When I was carjacked I had to move heaven and earth to see the guy locked up. The judge wanted to reduce it to simple car theft. 9 months and he would be out.

He is using the same methods used in Singapore. It works well.

We won't live free until the judges live in fear.

Manila or Milli Vanilli

We can follow Rodrigo's Way or Rodham's Way. One works, the other makes us feel compassionate.

Nonsense.

Singapore's drug control policy is thoroughly civilized in comparison to what is going on in the Philippines. A drug addict in Singapore is first assigned to a voluntary rehabilitation program. If that doesn't work he/she is then committed to a compulsory program. If that doesn't work the addict is then confined to a special prison where the rehab process is constant. throughout the full sentence.

In Singapore the only drug offenders who are subject to capital punishment are high-level traffickers -- and only after a fair, formal, public trial. In the Philippines supposed drug offfenders at any level are shot down in the street like mad dogs -- and it is widely believed that more than half these murder victims are not drug users or dealers but opponents of Duterte or his cronies and his corrupt police official/murderers. What is going on there is tyranny of the worst kind. Much worse than what went on in Chile and Argentina.

So you should disabuse yourself of such erroneous notions as the highly civilized nation of Singapore bearing any administrative similarity to Duterte's Philippines. Duterte should be brought before the World Court, tried, and hanged.
