Robots Help US Manufacturers Compete With China
February 21, 2013 — After decades of losing jobs to China and other low wage countries, the manufacturing sector in the United States is now expanding -- thanks in large part to the integration of advanced technology into production processes. While this development has so far sparked only a modest increase in employment, Some American manufacturers are optimistic that technology will create more highly skilled jobs for those workers being replaced by robots.

Well, robots may be fine and all that, but would you want one to marry your sister?

Only a matter of time now my friends. If they're smart enough to recognize themselves, they'll soon be smart enough to recognize when a human is in the crosshairs... :omg:

Though perhaps you may want to marry one (or more; no bigamy with machines!).

Permanently son. That will be their prime directive.

Robotics and technology are a boom to mankind except for the fact that our economic system offers workers no way of truly benefitting from them when they replace human labor with techo laboring devices.

About 25% of the laboring force has already been made redundant thanks to technology.

The next 25% is already under the gun.
