Robin Williams was found dead today in his home. He battled substance abuse and depression. He was one of the greats, he will be missed.

My gosh. I must admit that I was quite shocked when I heard about this. I read this earlier when online browsing, and I read they think it might have been a suicide and asphyxiation played a role. I wonder if they found him hanging or something? Regardless, horrible news. I feel for his family, and the comedy world has suffered a HUGE loss.

RW was fuckin' brilliant...

The world lost a great talent today, too bad it had to come to this. All the fame and money couldn't get him not to do this. I'll always remember him as "Mork" from that old tv show I watched growing up. RIP.

real shame. Depression can be a killer

RIP to a great comic, actor, and person

Not really "shocking" news. RW has always been one of the emotionally neediest people in show business, constantly doing and saying things to be the center of attention.

It seems bizarre to use the expression, "body of work" with someone who was basically a comedian, but he left behind a substantial body of work that will be remembered for a long time.

As one of the Little People, I can't even imagine how someone with his resources could devolve to a suicidal state.
