Roberts Switched his Health Care Reform Vote, CBS reports

Originally, Chief Justice John Roberts had decided to strike down the health care reform law's individual mandate after oral arguments in March, CBS News reported over the weekend. But sometime over the next six weeks, he changed his mind, bitterly disappointing his fellow conservatives on the court.
[
CBS News' Jan Crawford reported that two unnamed sources with knowledge of the deliberations told her that Justice Anthony Kennedy, usually the court's swing vote, launched a "relentless" but unsuccessful campaign to get Roberts to come back to the fold after he changed his mind and joined the court's liberal wing. Kennedy was flatly opposed to the law and joined the three conservative justices in writing an unsigned dissent that pointedly refused to engage with Roberts' majority opinion. The justices did not sign on to any part of Roberts' opinion, even portions with which they agreed.

This gives credence to the reports that Ginsberg gave the Dissenting Opinion and he did flip his vote in the waning days.

If the Senate can call for him to be medically examined after his seizures, then Republicans better question his mental capacity on the Senate floor.

He needs to be removed from office after the November election if he is on meds and can be influenced by the Democraps and media with their threats.

Maybe Obama threatened him?

Following the rule of Law should not encompass changing your mind.

Roberts caved in to save his face around DC and to not make a "mark" on society from the bench, but in reality he did make a mark by ILLEGALLY re-writing the law from the bench and he now is enemy of Democraps and Republicans....so much for tea party time.

The joke is he set Obamination up for failure in November by tying Obamacare around his neck when Democraps want Obamacare to fade away off the TV, radio and internet.

Most of the above is true, but there was a consequence to Robet's actions. It rallied the base of the Republicans and brought many Independents to action in the favor to the Republicans for November.

It's kind of sad how quickly they turn on their own.

My point was directed at everyone whose job is to uphold the Law... What IS sad that you bring politics into it. The Law is NOT something that needs to be interpreted through partisan glasses by ANYONE.

I suspect like many out there that Roberts caved from pressure. If that is the case he needs to resign.
