Wow...hadn't heard. Been really busy. Hadn't talked to my dad in a few days or I would have.

My pop only has 2 pictures of he and the many musicians he's preformed with over the last nearly 60 years hanging on the wall of his office. Doc and he on stage at a festival some years ago is one of them.

The other one...well, that is of him and Bill Monroe. So, if you know anything about blue grass, that tells ya the company he put Doc in!

The founders of modern music are disappearing before our eyes. If you appreciate the roots of country and bluegrass...get your butts to a festival and enjoy them while they are alive!
