Rioters in Philly Are Black, Mayor/NAACP Admit

More teen fun.

According to police, about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, three boys - two age 17 and one 16 - got on the Route 52 bus at 52nd and Chestnut streets. While on the bus, the boys were cursing, being rude and generally engaging in "outlandish behavior," cops said.

When they got off the bus on Greenway Avenue near 54th Street in Kingsessing, one teen pulled the bus driver out of his seat and threw him off the bus and onto the ground, police said.

Once on the ground, the 45-year-old driver was repeatedly punched in his face by all three boys before they fled south on Greenway.

A passenger called police, Johnson said, and cops were able to nab the teens about two blocks away on Paschall Avenue near 54th Street.

They were charged with aggravated assault and related offenses. Their names were not released because they are juveniles.

Still, Johnson wondered how SEPTA bus drivers, who are told to give service with a smile, can continue to do so under such conditions.

"How can I give service with a smile when I'm scared to come to work?" he asked.

Teen thugs beat up bus driver

This shit has become so commonplace, that it no longer even makes the evening news.

Not in Philly and not according to their black mayor and the NAACP.

The head of Philadelphia’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, J. Whyatt Mondesire, said it “took courage” for Mr. Nutter to deliver the message.

“These are majority African-American youths and they need to be called on it,” Mr. Mondesire said.

Another one reported yesterday:

IN YET ANOTHER home invasion of an Asian business owner, an Oxford Circle man says that he and his wife were ambushed Sunday night as they pulled into their back driveway in their black Lexus.

The husband, 42, a Korean-American who goes by the nickname Kenny but who did not want his name published, yesterday showed the Daily News a home-surveillance video that showed the attackers pouncing from behind a fence, surprising the couple

Inside the house, the robbers kicked Kenny on the ground in his side and head and hit him four times with a gun in the back of his head. One thug said he would count down from 5 and then shoot, Kenny said. The attacker counted, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1," and Kenny told them they had already taken the couple's money outside. The thug then counted down again, and Kenny said he then told them the money was upstairs and they should "take anything."

Meanwhile, one of the gunmen pointed a gun at the head of Kenny's 40-year-old Korean-American wife, who had been taken to an upstairs bedroom by other attackers, Kenny said.

The video showed six thugs wearing hooded sweatshirts. He said he didn't get a good look at the robbers' faces because they were wearing masks and kept yelling, "Don't look at me!" and ordered him to close his eyes. He described them as African-American and in their 20s.
Video shows gang attacking Asian couple

At least this gang got some cash. The others were just attacking people for sport.
