Righteous Brothers' Bobby Hatfield Found Dead in Hotel, AP Says

Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Bobby Hatfield, who with Bill Medley formed the Righteous Brothers and scored hits such as ``You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling'' and ``Unchained Melody,'' was found dead in a hotel bedroom in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Associated Press reported, citing his manager David Cohen.

Hatfield, 63, was discovered half an hour before the duo were to perform at the Miller auditorium on the Western Michigan University campus, the agency said.

Medley and Hatfield had worked together for 42 years, perfecting what critics called ``blue-eyed soul,'' with the 1964 ``You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling,'' which is the most-programmed song in U.S. radio, the AP reported. The pair were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.

No cause of death was given, the AP reported

Their remake of Unchained Melody was undoubtly the best !

Another sad day for music lovers.:(

Wow, I didn't see this right away - yeah, I would say a bummer, I love Unchained Melody. This sounds like another performer found in a hotel room recently, can't remember who though.
