Good riddance. Just make sure they pay their taxes before they leave.

Don't bitch when they move their business overseas then ok? And don't blame the GOP for the jobs lost.

The problem with the non wealthy is jealousy, plain and simple. That's what's at the heart of your post. You 'hate' them because they have more than you. Your lack of reasoned response is pathetic.

Just charge them tarrifs for importing the overseas goods back to here to sell.

 They can sell to a whole wide world. They don't need the US market. Idiot.

We work so cheap here in KY that there is a golf club manufacturer that is moving here from Mexico.

Americans demand cheap goods along with a higher standard of labor benefits, so the only people we have to blame for manufacturing jobs going overseas is ourselves.

I don't see why it's such a big deal anyway. Moving away from a manufacturing and agrarian economy towards a service economy is the natural evolution of an advanced society. The problem with Americans is that we do everything we can to hold on to the past while our competitors around the world are forward thinking.

Like Kennedy, I believe that not hiking taxes - particularly during a downturn - is a smart move.

Unlike you, I don't march lockstep with either party. I am capable of seeing both as not worthy of running this country.

Cutting taxes on the very rich when we desperatly need revenue is, well, simple minded.

They didn't cut taxes....they just didn't raise taxes.

Oh they cut taxes alright. The first time, it damaged our economy terribly. Those tax cuts had an "ending date" which sent taxes back to normal. Then they were renewed. That was a second tax cut for people who rarely serve in the military. Who create jobs in China. Who simply pack up and leave when the country fails. The idols of the ridiculous right.

Forward thinking by, get this, "manufacturing". To make money, you have to sell something.

After 10 years it's a tax hike, dude. What in hell does the military have to do with it? :cuckoo:
When our government over regulates and puts high taxes on business, they will move out. Wasn't it Clinton who signed the NAFTA Treaty? moron

Where everything the Repubs have ever done was a great success.

Tax cuts for the rich didn't produce skyrocketing deficits because if you reduce your income you won't have any trouble paying your bills.

I guess if you are in debt up to your eyeballs you are supposed to go buy another new car???? Or raise debt “ceiling” on the credit cards in the red????

Wide open free trade policies hasn't lead to the loss of forty thousand factories in the last ten years. So what if the only jobs now are fipping burgers, you can just get another job to make up the difference.

So its OK that GE (a huge Obama supporter) layed off 34,000 workers on (one of of which I was) and moved 24,000 jobs to India. Or that they will still be making incandescent lightbulbs… just not here in the USA.

Invading and occupying Iraq and Afghanistan were wise decisions and strenghtened America. Borrowing all the money to pay for the wars was also a good idea, there was no need to think of our children who would have to pay for it, so what if previous generations paid war taxes. There was also no reason to worry about America's prestige as the country that "ends wars" by starting an unprovoked war in Iraq and occupying unarmed countries.

Your just plain stupid on this one…

De-regulating the banking industry was another great idea, there were no lessons to be learned from the Great Depression or the S&L scandel. I wonder why previous generations created those "pesky" regulations anyway? Oh well,...

That can be blamed on all the asshats in DC… not just the Repubics

It's been thirty years of the "Conservative Agenda" and everything has been working out pefectly. Now if we just get rid of Social Security, Medicare and of course "Obamacare" American citizens will will be much more secure. Yes, everything is gonna be great! Trust me , the Repubs have never been wrong about anything before have they?

Yep… revamp SSI and raise the retirement age. Its kiiling us all to keep the “ponzi schemes” in place. Medicare has been such a wonderful success has it?

I can understand Republican philosophy just about as well as I understand collectivist Left philosophies: Collective judicial sentencing = fail, collective educational system = fail, social justice = fail, eliminating classism = fail, all previous socialist governments fail (or close to).

Think about it if you can lefties. Fannie Mae collapsed during a democrat majority in congress. The banking chairman at that time claimed he had "ideological blinders on" and didn't see the collapse coming under his watch. It's an amazing admission. Barney Frank just about confessed that democrats let the economic disaster happen in order to perpetrate the biggest October surprise in history. The amazing thing is that the president with no last name managed to convince his flock that capitalism was the enemy and the Chamber of Commerce was a subversive organization. True (socialist?) believers still post stuff blaming Corporate America for the problems that democrats created.

Hey California Girl, since you're up in here making and passing judgments and whats not.. let me ask you this.

Are you wealthy?

Should the "non-wealthy" in this board be jealous of you?

Nobody should be jealous of anybody else. Consider instead a Purpose driven life.

Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's."

Is there another reason you hate people who work for their money?

Republican's entire agenda is "failure". That's all they know.

At least with Republicans, you know what you are going to get.

Except in elections. With a few exceptions, we've been winning the shit outta them the last 25 years.
