Right wing paranoid schizophrenia obsession.

Out of curiosity, why does making fun of a big spending tax hiking liberal like Mike Huckabee also make the person who mocked him a liberal?

It was on the radio so no, but I did hear it and he went pretty deep discussing the misspeak? I think instead of misspeaking he probably mis-thought the whole thing. But since others feel it was just a slip I'm curious what he misspoke about?

You did not hear it in its entirety...did you.

Instead, you heard only the parts that the producer of the radio show deemed best for you to hear.
I will not debate this with someone that only heard parts of it.
He mispoke, he clarified it...and he moved on....and by the way....HE LAUGHED about it as well.

And as for me?

I am by far no fan of Huckabee.

I didnt offer a debate, I asked what was the misspeak part? It's a question free to be answered by anyone. I heard the whole thing but honestly it doesnt matter how much I heard there isnt a requirement I have to meet to ask questions...I just want to know what he misspoke about? Anyone?

Sorry...I took what you said as sarcastic.
He inadvertanly said "raised" as opposed to "lived" and corrected himself immediately.

But i am curious...what radio show did that? They obviously took the line "raised" and then deleted the "correction" and then inserted the balance of the discussion where YOU and the other listeners were led to believe that he was insisting that Obama was RAISED there.....do you appreciate that kind of journalsim?

Everyoneone makes errors when they speak from time to time. Remember Obama's 57 state gaff. Geeeze the left is really taking it to the limits on this one. Must be the "word" from the echo chamber.

Huckabee's 'Kenya' clarification raises more questions

Huckabee seem to be more than a little out of touch with reality. Bordering on Paranoid Schizophrenia. His irrational ranting and raving was down right scary and dangerous because he planted a lie and the Stupids who cannot distinguish fact from fiction take it and grew it into a forest. This is really troubling. With a capitol T. Come to think of it, many Right Wingers and T-Baggers seem to be suffering from the same Paranoid Schizophrenia when it comes to Obama‘s birth, religion, his childhood, etc. Angle, Bachmann, Beck, Palin, Rush, Boehner, Hannity, O’Reilly, etc.

Obama is just another skinny little bi-racial black man indoctrinated by mid-west white grand parents. They had more influence on him than anyone or anything. Nothing out of the ordinary. I guess that is scary to some white people? Obama is not unlike many other Americans, Black, White, Hispanic, etc.

Seems to be enough stupid to go around, and yes, it is VERY troubling. It's like you start
a game, and half way through, the rules get changed.

As I recall, you needed to be BORN in the USA to become President, seems simple enough. As to his race or religion, it shouldn't be an issue, and for most Americans its not. Again, seems simple enough.

We're all indoctrinated/influenced by who we live with, and where we live, or how long we live there. Again, simple enough.

Let's stick to the ORIGINAL rules, and it all good.

It's the kind of journalism we have today...can't forget about the journalism with Walker in Wi. The dude called claiming to be someone he's not.....what happened to ethics in journalism?

Actually, no it doesn't raise any questions at all. Because virtually no one cares what Huckabee says.

Yet again, you COMPLETELY miss the point.

Its not about Huckabee's perceived or real importance in the "grand scheme of things," but its WHO he's catering too.

Its a well known fact that the Republican base includes racists, over zealous religious fundamentalists and far right wing reactionaries who would NEVER accept one of their leaders stating publicly that Obama is A. actually a Christian and/or B. an American citizen with all the rights and privileges that comes with that.

Don't believe me? Ask ANY of the RW leaders and politicos those questions in public and watch them hem and haw.

Oh, ok....Heres my thing. It doesnt matter if he said "lived" "raised" "traveled to" kenya, indonesia, or Rome. Why is Huckabee discussing where the President lived? (To make a point) He's catering to the worst type of base with that. Then he attempts to use that (foriegn living) to psychoanalyze what the President believes from that (anti-americanism).

Thats the worst type of intellectual dishonesty, if you want to know, just ask the man.

He offered his opinion on the thought process of the man.
Truth is, Obama sees things very differently than many of us....and sees thinsg similarly as many of us as well.
But Huckabee, a political figure in himself, is entitled to his opinion on Obama and was asked to rationalize it.
His rationalization is valid. Not necessarily a good or bad thing....but quite valid.
Many peopole who spend time in other countries have different visions of how America should be.
On the flip side, many who never travel have nothing to cmpare it to.
Sure...some feed off of what Huckabee says.....jjust as some feed off of Pelosi saying the tea party was astroturf...and some fed off of Obama saying the police acted stupidly...

Are we not to express our opinion out of fear of the few loons that may feed off of it?

Exactly......Obama wasn't raised as the average all american, apple pie child. His upbringing can definitely be construed as quite strange. Even he admits it.......But, it's his later adult years that needs to be examined. His associations with so many shady people defintely tell a story. His associations and friendships with so many anti-american radicals definitely tell a story. His appontments of so many marxist leaning radicals into his administration tells the most disturbing story.

Look, the man is what he is. His associations and own words over the years prove it. Anybody thinking this man just all of a sudden changed, is an idiot.......When one has the ability to speak so eloquently as he does. one develops a thought process that he can convince anybody of anything. He's quickly found out that it is not the case. There is now serious pushback against he and his ideals. People are NOT buying into his BS. BS that both he and the progressive Soros machine thought he could magically push through on his speaking ability alone. They are finding that this country is most definitely center right. Always has been. There is no way in hell that they'll just magically push it left. The majority of people in this country just aren't that friggin' stupid, and will never allow it to happen.

Huckabee isnt conservative. He doesn't cater to a conservative base.

Ive seen no evidence that Huckabee is racist. The mans a snake oil salesman, but that doesn't mean you can falsely accuse him of sometihng he isn't.

The right has no problem with saying Obama is a citizen nor does the right have any problems with him professing his faith as a Christian. He certainly doesn't live it. But that's likely because he is a from a liberation theology which has much more socialist leanings than Gospel leanings.

Go ahead and ask them. You wont see any hemming and hawwing.

It's ironic that you are trying to use the noninfluencial Huckabee to scare people into supporting the President while accusing him of doing the same. But then thats the type of person you are.
