Ridiculous Seperation Of Church And State

Screaming, you and I and all whole lot of others probably agree on what is 'right and wrong.' Yet I am not willing to say adults cannot have access to what they will, regardless of the outcome for their immortal souls. It's the price to be paid by going down that road, in a free country. I like the choices I have, such as under the 2nd amendment.

We have to honor the rights and responsibilities. Those that wish to go to hell in a handbasket, more power to them. I don't, doubt you do either.

Kids, are the parents responsibility. I monitored mine when I needed to-from about 7-18 on internet. Pulled history daily. Read their 'online journals' and would use what I gained to begin discussions with them, though I never admitted to such. ;)

I agree that there is no way any Law is going to prevent anybody from delving into the the dark side if one wishes to pursue that low road of life. Porn will always find some way to get distributed. However, there is no reason society can't limit the free distribution and access of such materials to the general public.

Society used to be far less sleazy. You could let your kids play on the streets after dark and not worry about molesters. There used to be laws that prevented stores from selling magazines such as Playboy and Hustler on their shelves. Movies and TV were much cleaner. You would never see something like the Janet Jackson antics. Pornography keeps attempting to push the boundaries and society should push right back.

I agree that a parent is the first line of defense. But what good is it if a parent does not also clean up his own community in which his child is going to grow and live his future? Why should we as a society have to live in filth? If we have a right to clean air and clean water, we should have a right to clean airwaves and clean public areas.

Society declares drugs to be harmful and condemns them. Why shouldn't society declare pornography to be harmful and condemn it? Pornography has pretty much the same destructive effects as drugs do. It also rots the mind.

Umm, yeah there is, it's called the Constitution.

You keeping piling up this crap in the hope someone thinks it's ice cream. You have yet to provide any support to your notion that homosexuality, abortion, or porn are great dangers to society. If it's true, why wouldn't your God have given Moses Commandment 11: Thou shalt not be a fag, Commandment 12: Thou shalt not harm an unborn child, and Commandment 13: Thou shalt not look at Hustler?
