Good fellow..that Rick.

Hey Sallow....FYI....

When I was working I always said that anyone who said they would be bored if they retired were full of crap.

Well...as you know...I retired 2 weeks ago at the age of 54.

2 weeks later?

I am bored sick. Dont know what to do with myself.

Built a new headboard.....re-built 5 steps leading to my second level....and did about 25 loads of laundry.

Now what?

I'll bet you anything that guy has a whole library of porn hidden somewhere, people that crusade so hard against it usually do. If I want someone to tell me where to stick my dick, I'll move to Iran.

Please do....:eusa_pray:

Nope, I'm staying here in the USA.:eusa_angel: You should move to Iran, you would fit in perfectly over there.

Am I to understand that Santorum claiming that a sexual relationship between a man and a woman that supports the family structure AUTOMATICALLY makes him support child molesters?

Good luck with that one.

we have a national problem that one could label as "free sex" being promoted via all sorts of media avenues by the porn industry especially among our children......this leads to irresponsible sex, rapes and violence, abortions, children without fathers, the breakup of family, dependence on the government and poverty.....

Santorum is simply being a moral leader to help break out of this insidious pattern.....

What's wrong with free sex? Personally, I have no problem with it and it seems that the majority of America tends to agree with me since there's a whole lot of fucking going on in this nation. Now you may personally have a problem with that and it's your right to feel that way, but suggesting that a society which embraces sexual freedom endorses rape and violence is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard someone say (or at least in the top five).

If more people used rubbers you might see a significant decrease in abortions, children without fathers, and dependence upon government. I have also noticed that people who are opposed to using rubbers tend to change their opinion once they get a good solid case of the clap.

Once the pursuit of pleasure becomes paramount, the rapist sees his victim as stopping him from enjoying himself. Interfering with his right of pursuit of pleasure.

This isn't the alley rapist that pulls a knife, or beats a woman into submission. This is the date rapist, the GHB rapist. Many times such a rapist is caught because he is so intent on the act of sex being nothing more than feeling good, he will call his victim and ask her out again. I recall one case in which the rapist left a note "Call me sometime" conveniently including his telephone number. Then of course there is the guy who lures women into consent by creating the artificial idea that there is something about her that he finds "special" (oh darn that word again). The classic CONSENSUAL one night stand. Naturally if the woman knew the truth it would have been NON-CONSENSUAL.

To the amoral and degenerate culture, a lie is as good as the truth. There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with a man using subtrefuge to get a woman's consent. It is certainly not illegal. It might be immoral, but it's not illegal. Since we reject morals, that behavior is perfectly acceptable. If she's the 50th woman he did this to, and she gets an incurable STD, did she deserve it, or not?

How do you know so much about how a rapists mind works?

Is it time for confession?

For many MANY years I practiced criminal defense. Primarily my firm specialized in murder and serial killers but we did have a lot of other crimes as well, including rape. I still maintain close ties to a Los Angeles criminal defense firm where I consult from time to time.

Let me ask you a question. Is it okay for man to induce a woman to think there is a relationship, a special relationship, between them to gain her consent for sex? Is this TRULY consensual sex where the man knows there would be no consent if she knew the truth? Or, is this wholly amoral behavior? We KNOW for a fact that it's not illegal.

If the womans believes the man, its on her if she gives consent, what are you suggesting? to throw men in jail about for duping women into the sack?:doubt:

Don't you think your control group might be just slightly biased?

No law against seduction....and believe me....women do it just as much as men do.

"One of the things I will talk about that no president has talked about before is I think the dangers of contraception in this country, the whole sexual libertine idea... It's not okay because it's a license to do things in the sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. They're supposed to be within marriage, for purposes that are, yes, conjugal... but also procreative.

That's the perfect way that a sexual union should happen. We take any part of that out, we diminish the act. And if you can take one part out that's not for purposes of procreation, that's not one of the reasons, then you diminish this very special bond between men and women, so why can't you take other parts of that out? And all of a sudden, it becomes deconstructed to the point where it's simply pleasure. And that's certainly a part of it--and it's an important part of it, don't get me wrong--but there's a lot of things we do for pleasure, and this is special, and it needs to be seen as special. Again, I know most presidents don't talk about those things, and maybe people don't want us to talk about those things, but I think it's important that you are who you are. I'm not running for preacher.

I'm not running for pastor, but these are important public policy issues.

OK, so Rick Santorum has his own personal beliefs about sex. Big deal. I don't see him trying to impose his beliefs onto the rest of us by proposing some sort of legislation.

Apparently, Rick Santorum is not allowed to express his personal beliefs on various topics that aren't related to economics, wars, welfare, social "injustice", racial divide, etc.

Always interesting to see how all of these "freedom of speech" people don't want to allow people with differing beliefs from theirs, to exercise THEIR "freedom of speech".

If pursuit of personal pleasure becomes a society's primary purpose it seldom stops with sex. After a while of sexual license even that loses it's intensity. The person needs to level up. We can't really limit this to sex, pushing the envelope is present just everywhere. Recognize that whether or not to use a rubber, itself, all alone is a restraint on sexual freedom. That's why we have the spread of disease including AIDS.

Just this topic should tell you something about the way people today feel about others who have an internal sense of morality. If you don't fuck around, you must be a child molester. It's laughable. Let's apply that to every man and woman who remains faithful to a loved spouse. How about your parents or grandparents? Do you come from a long line of child molesters?

If we are to have TRUE sexual freedom, the whole concept of a loved spouse has to be scrapped.

Freedom of speech is fine. But when someone is proposing to have government dictate to you what you can and can't do in the bedroom between consenting adults..it gives you pause to think. Especially if that person is running for the highest government office in the land.

It's frightening that's why he has to be silenced. Everyone who has an opinion on how amoral we are has to be silenced. Suppose these ideas grow. Suppose men and women actually find respect for one another and discover that fidelity breeds trust. That ends sexual freedom for all.

It's dangerous.
