Two times two million comes out to four million. Hmmmm, good.

Then Mitt Romney (47th in job creation) said he created more jobs in Massachusetts when he was Governor than the entire time Obama has been in office. Well, that would mean he created 4 million jobs for six and a half million people. Even toddlers would have jobs.

After the debate, "Factcheck" came on and said Mass. created 49,000 while Romney was in office and since Obama has been president, the US created 2.3 million jobs.

Another hilarity was saying there is no legislation forcing Americans to "buy" something. Except care insurance. Guess Republicans don't drive?

Perry said Texas would have insurance if it weren't mandated by Obama. Except, if you have a better plan, you can opt out, he forgot to mention that.

Mitt said the reason he passed Romneycare was because people were going to the emergency room at 10 to 100 times the cost and the taxpayer was footing the bill. Which is hilarious since it's the SAME reason Obama's health care bill was passed.

Government has the power to tax according to the constitution. Therefore, being charged for health care is simply another "tax".

What you don't seem to understand is that every person that goes to the emergency room and can't pay passes that cost on to the tax payers.

What Perry said was that half of the new jobs in the last year, and that Texas has added 209 million jobs in the decade he has been in office. I guess that makes you the liar.

Also, in case you were actually talking about liability insurance for cars, not even all people who drive are required to buy it, it depends on the state. California does not require people to have insurance to drive.

ok lets get technical then.....the Bond is $35,000 ......how many can do that?.....so you have to have a minimum Liability Ins policy .....so to drive legally out here you are being mandated to purchase a cheap Ins Policy....

My guess is that most people who can afford the bond actually carry full coverage on their vehicles. Doesn't change the fact that they do have a choice about carrying insurance if they prefer not to though.

I was stationed in San Diego when the law was first passed, and the requirement was that anyone who had an accident had to have insurance or post a 5000 bond immediately. I thought that made more sense than forcing people to buy insurance, and still do. One of the things California gets right.
