I love Michigan to death. Especially the UP. And Michigan folks that we knew and befriended when we were expats from Canada down in Tennessee at Saturn were just such real and good souls.

When I saw that Obama was going to use Jenny as an advisor on job creation I swear I thought I was going to pass out.

I love Michigan too! I'm very blessed because my husband and i are both still working (at the same company) and it "seems" pretty secure. But you really don't know! And Granholm as an advisor??? You and i would have probably passed out at the same time! I couldn't believe it....
And YES! I lived in the UP in Calumet for 2 years....beautiful! Except them darn "no-seeum" bugs (you can't see them but man can they leave a welt!) Lol!

California has massive debt and an even more massively underfunded state pension.
Additionally, while Texas actually has laws and courts which put criminals in prison, California is loaded with people who do the opposite.

Of course. We have no prisons in CA....we give our criminals flowers and candy.
