WASHINGTON -- Conservative groups are furious with GOP leadership for stripping several lawmakers of spots on powerful committees after it was deemed that they were not toeing the party line.

On Monday, the Republican Steering Committee, which is chaired by House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), voted to remove Reps. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) and Tim Huelskamp (R-Kansas) from the House Budget Commtitee. Reps. David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) and Walter Jones (R-N.C.) lost their positions on the Financial Services Committee.

John Boehner Faces Conservative Fury For Booting Members From Key Committees

Conservatives need to have more of a marxist view.................For the people !!! Especially the "workers"........LOL

If only conservatives could move more to the "center right", like the kenyan cult leader......

The long anticipated republican civil war is finally here and not a minute too soon and it is a forgone conclusion that no one will win except the democrats.

GOP Senators and House Representatives who don't vote exactly as told get primaried and removed by Koch/Norquist.

Arlen Spector had to leave the party for not voting EXACTLY as the party bosses wanted.

On the Left, however, there is freedom. Obama campaigned for some of the "Blue Dogs" who blocked major parts of his health care bill.

Joe Liberman retained his committee chair even though he campaigned for McCain.

On the Right, you must follow the concentrated leadership on top, which is funded by concentrated wealth. If you fail, that concentrated wealth will fund a primary challenge and you will be removed.

Not so on Left. You are free to vote against your party - hence the Blue Dogs.

We have two very different parties. The Right is, ironically, very Stalinist. They have an ironclad system of incentives and punishments which ensure that everyone votes as the bosses want. They are ruled by an iron fist from the top.

The Right used to contain moderate elements. They use to allow members to vote their conscience. Now they are tightly constrained by a "Party Line". They do not believe in Democracy. They have a strict hierarchy. (It's very much like the old Soviet Union)

Good. We need to stop this crap and actually fix problems instead of kick things down the road.

The use of the word "fury" is a typical intentional left wing gimmick. For perspective note that democrats kicked their former presidential candidate out of the party for being too moderate.
