Highly critically acclaimed, probably going to win some awards...
Me? - Pheh... not that impressed.
William DaFoe's performance was outstanding, for that, I agree to any award.
And Pattinson wasn't too shabby himself.
But that is where it ends for me.
I did not like the old 32mm "square" frame presentation, any nostalgia one might feel for the format, it isn't worth what it takes away from the quality of the film. Just my opinion.
Besides that, it was weird, uncomfortable at times even, I guess I am not "artys fartsy" enough.

The VVitch was one of the best horror films in quite awhile, great film.
Only wish there was a VVitch 2.

In The Lighthouse, was it really necessary to show not 1 or 2, or even 3 - but 4 scenes of the two guys masturbating??
