I recall Rev. Wright saying in 2008 that unless Obama does the job (as President) the right way that he'd "go after him" and do it publicly.

I think a lot of Minorities who thought that electing a Black man would somehow change things in Washington have realized what others have known for a long time: The President is merely a puppet.

Agree with what?

Personally I think Wright has gone off the deep end. And his inflamatory rhetoric isn't all that helpful.

But the rhetoric is rooted in some pretty despicable history. And I find it interesting that the right continues to trot this guy out as something that has any validity to anyone or anything. Wright doesn't incite riots. He's not violent. And the people that listen to him basically realize that it sort of begins and ends there. It's more cathartic than anything else.

Wright is essentially a pariah.

Conservatives give him much more in the way of credibility than he actually has.
