'Revenge porn' should be a crime

Not to mention the comment was pretty self explainitory. A woman I know sent nude photos to a guy she was dating...he still had them after the relationship ended and I found them while going through some other old junk.

That's why I said... never send nude photos... You never know where they will end up.
While going through some old junk? :lmao:

Why would she keep the pics is an interesting question.

Overwhelming majority of relationships end. And of those some will end badly. And the kind of person who asks you to pose nude or sexually provacative is the kind of person who probably wouldn't be trusted with such imagery post-breakup.

So what in the world are you thinking when you agree to this kind of thing? If public distribution of you being naked and naughty isn't something you're ok with, don't pose for such pictures in the first place.

Women with low self esteem ? Women trying to lure a man away from another woman? Who knows? At any rate it's dumb. But using those pics to hurt them after a break up a now illegal n several states... Including mine.

Sure, don't do it certainly is one way of preventing such images from getting onto the internet. Of course, if you are in a committed relationship there is nothing wrong with a little adventure. I have done so with my wife several times.

The idea that this simply ruins someones life is rather overstated as well. I could give two shits if such pictures existed and my wife would be a little embarrassed but ultimately could care less as well. There are carrier fields where this is not the case though - such as a teacher - but for the most part it is irrelevant.

I was actually watching the news and caught a story about two separate websites that used their forum and the information provided by the abusers that providing the pics ...to extort money from the victims. In both cases the perpetrators received prison time.
