Hussein must know by now that he is not going to be reelected. That means he and his rats have 8 months to do as much damage as they can. REPUBLICAN Senator Richard Lugar is one Hussein’s nastiest rats; on par with the rodents in Hussein’s cabinet, and certainly worse than Hussein’s czars and czarinas.

Lugar is in a nomination fight that will be settled today. His opponent is Tea Party candidate Richard Mourdock. Happily, Lugar is trailing in the polls. Should he lose the nomination and not run as an independent he will remain in the Senate until January of next year. That means that he, Democrats, and RINO will push to ratify the LOST (Law of the Sea treaty).

NOTE: I do not know if it was Lugar’s love of UN treaties that made the Indiana Tea Party work so hard to defeat him. It has to be a factor although I have not seen the issue covered, or even mentioned, in media reporting on Lugar’s problems.

Lugar and then-Senator Biden worked together to ratify the LOST when Bush the Younger was president. Lugar lied like hell back then, but he and super-rat Biden failed. I know Lugar is telling Indiana Republicans how wonderful he has been in the past, but I doubt if he brags about working with Biden to give the UN taxing authority over the American people.

Dick Morris talks about UN treaties in this next video from two months ago. He makes one mistake. He based his predictions on Hussein & Company ratifying those treaties after he is reelected. Unfortunately, the treaties Morris cites represent the motivation for the revenge Hussein and his rats are after if he is not reelected:

Do not misjudge Hussein and his rats or their motives. They are angry cornered rats because everything they stand for is being rejected.

Finally, Dick Morris’ latest book ——Screwed —— is due out this week. In Screwed he talks about the very things I’ve railed against for years. Dare I hope that Morris’ effort is the beginning of public voices calling for America to get out of the UN?

Anything less than withdrawal means the eventual end of America’s sovereignty.

I didn't read the post.... I noticed only that he referred to Obama as 'Hussein' and I tend to dismiss anyone who does that as not worth the effort required to read their shit.

The opposition to Lugar is more against his moderate position and his age than anything else. The people of this country want to see more partisan politics and less coming together and working as a country. Parallels with other countries come to mind and the result is not something that will be welcomed. The electorate is more and more swayed by the talking heads on their respective platforms spewing venom and lies about each other. They are led blindly along the primrose path whether they are democrat or Republican.

I just hope this pattern does not trickle down to local politics because local government works. But, at least in Indiana, it appears this partisan divide is trickling down.

NOTE: Lugar even lied about Reagan’s rejection of the LOST:

The proponents of LOST selectively use Reagan's statement to support their contention that the seabed mining provisions were the only source of Reagan's objections to LOST. For example, in recent Senate testimony, Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte testified that Reagan declined to sign LOST solely "[d]ue to deep flaws in the deep seabed mining chapter--Part XI of the Convention" and that subsequent negotiations had resolved "each of the objections that President Reagan had identified."[2]

In a subsequent hearing, Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) repeated that contention: "It is telling that the President did not raise any objection to any provision of the Convention outside the deep seabed mining section. President Reagan made no demands for any other changes in the treaty."[3]

Those characterizations of Reagan's objections are demonstrably false.

Richard Lugar’s defeat is the first good news to come out of this election cycle. That’s a nice contrast to the presidential race where all of the news has been bad. Now, the question is will “moderate” Indiana Republicans support Mourdock? Establishment Republicans insist that everybody unite behind Romney to defeat Hussein; so it’s only fair they support Mourdock. Conservatives have good reason to doubt the RNC. Big government Republicans have a history of saying “My guy or the Democrat is better than your guy.”:

Lugar supporters argued that a Mourdock victory could increase Democrats' chances of winning the Senate seat in a reprisal of far-right candidates in 2010, such as Christine O'Donnell in Delaware and Sharron Angle in Nevada, who lost against Democratic opponents.

Add Tea Party favorite Joe Miller to the list. The Republican establishment did not help him in his bid for the Senate seat in Alaska and he was beaten by a write-in candidate. Miller would have creamed his write-in opponent, Lisa Murkowski, in the general election with a little help from Karl Rove & Company. But I digress.

Lugar is good reason to repeal the XVII Amendment:

Lugar, 80, built a Senate career largely focused on foreign policy.

US Senators are there to represent their states. Lugar spent his time in the Senate representing the global government crowd. The only times he represented the people of Indiana was when their best interests did not conflict with the United Nations agenda. As I’ve said many times “Lugar never saw a UN treaty he did not love.”

Lugar was one of the 8 RINO who voted to ratify the New START Treaty. I guess giving America’s enemies a leg up is what leading voices do:

The two-time chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee became a leading voice on nuclear weapons.

Finally:

One advertisement from Mourdock's campaign called Lugar "President Obama's favorite Republican." It showed clips of President Obama saying, "I've worked with Republican Senator Dick Lugar to pass a law" and "What I did was reach out to Senator Dick Lugar."

State Republican Party chair Eric Holcomb says featuring Nancy Pelosi as headline speaker ties her far-left politics to the campaigns of gubernatorial candidate John Gregg and Senate candidate Joe Donnelly. And Holcomb says, in a state that leans conservative, voters will reject that message.

“Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi – they all have one thing in common and that is records that are out of step with Indiana,” Holcomb says.

Joe Donnelly says he’s not worried about Nancy Pelosi’s politics being tied to his campaign.

“Well, I did not vote for her for Speaker and so, you know, my focus is on the Senate race, what we’re doing here and on job creation,” Donnelly (D-2nd) says.

Donnelly will face the winner of Tuesday’s primary election between Richard Mourdock and Sen. Richard Lugar.

It’s true that in the most recent House election, he voted for someone else. But in the two previous votes -- the ones in which Democrats held a majority and had the power to choose the speaker -- Donnelly supported for Pelosi.

His statement ignored those two votes. We rate his claim Mostly False.
