If Ron Paul becomes the President of the United States of America: will we return to slavery? The reason that I like Ron Paul, as he loves small government like it was before the American Civil War. True, half the population lived to be twenty-one: the lifespan of an adult was in the low forties. Women did not have the right to vote, blacks were not citizens of the United States. Everything about Ron Paul is about having a low standard of living.

Maybe it is time to return back to slavery. Not just place blacks into being slaves, but the unproductive members of our society. Say, if you are on food stamps: you just prove you do not understand how to be a productive member of society. Say, you have been unemployed longer than ten weeks: you just prove you do not understand how to be a productive member of society.

Before the American Civil War, there was nobody on food stamps or unemployment: American has lost its values. We have to return to a slave society. The unproductive members of society should be sold as slaves. Again, if the unproductive people of America cannot be productive as slaves: we just have to place them in a gas chamber as the only answer to the unproductive population of the United States of America. With slavery, with a smaller population without the unwanted: the American economy will grow and produce wealth for millions of people

those times he wants to return to had no problems with any of our social issues of the day either according to the right

Yes, we'll return to slavery and you'll have to trade in your Prius for a mule.

Pretty funny.

However, I think he'd still be limited by the constitution, amendments and all. so slavery would be out. Now foriegn interventions, that's a different kettle of fishes........

Ok then guys give us a time in the history of man where your ideas worked as advertised?

I see words, but they aren't saying anything...

It wasn't Ron Paul that said the long term unemployed should get job training. That was Newt Gingrich and he was right.

Ron Paul would just let people starve in the street with no job training. Which is okay too. They can get job training on their own.

I could use some extra help around here. What do you figure a couple of slaves would run me in this day and age?

We just cannot let them starve to death. If we did, that would be a waste of workforce. If they are not willing to work, then we just place them in a gas chamber. After they are gone, we can just sell their bodies. You can get some nice meat from some of them. Humans are just like chicken, just food.

That's such bullshit.

If someone isn't willing to work, we need to take as much money from someone who is willing to work and give it the original guy.

See that motivates both guys.

Person # 1 gets motivated to work because he can get money for free.

Person # 2 gets motivated to work because his money is taken away because he has a job.

Oh wait........is the exact opposite true?

How about using some common sense. Helping people to get on their own two feet and off of government hand outs, is not saying that people will stave to death.
