People that go to school and have college debt are not more acceptable than people that squander money on parties, got connection and got rich. The latter is wiser.

A woman that chose to get married to a poor husband is not more responsible than a pretty girl that becomes sugar babies of some rich guys. The latter is wiser.

Ganja is far less dangerous than cigarettes. So people that are poor or have lung problem because of cigarettes should pay the full cost of his lung problem compared to people going to Ganja.

Also it's hard to assign responsibility to ganja smoker when it's society that jail them

What happens is society tell something as "wrong" and then tolerate shit with far worse outcome and even bail out people that do more stupid decisions because it fits societies' agenda more.

I don't think I agree.

A pretty girl who marries a rich man might not be happier in life than the woman who marries a poor man. It depends on how you deem "success" in life. In the US, and China too, money rules. But people aren't happy. The Presidential election is proof of that. People are voting to make their lives better, not by changing their actual life, but by getting on board with the entertainer and believing his "hope" that he gives them.

Irresponsibility, short-term thinking, and juvenile hedonism are NOT examples of wisdom.

Advising an inner-city high school kid to forget about studying and to plan on being drafted into the NBA is not wise.

Advising a woman to have emotionless sex with as many men as possible in the hopes that one will turn out to be a billionaire who falls in love with her is not wise.

Insisting on the condoning of a drug that ruins lives because there are other drugs that also ruin lives is not wise.

Blaming society when an individual chooses to violate the law is not wise.

There's difference between meritocracy as a political philosophy, and meritocratic as a social philosophy, as a social philosophy it can be used to describe anything such as hiring people based on merit rather than family or wealthy connections. As politcal philosophy it can mean "ruled by an intellectual and educated class" as in forming a class of humans to be the most educated and rule over the rest of us, which can be used to describe everything from ancient monarchies to fascism.

The examination system created during the Han Synthesis is often cited as an example of meritocracy.

Let me guess- Your C minus average after six years at community college is not even worth $200/week at the stripmall and your parents want you out of the basement pronto.

I am a businessman. I learn how to make money outside school

Your info on pot and cigarettes is wrong. Pot smoke is just as lethal. Also cigarette smokers already pay so many taxes they actually cost the government less money

I'm pretty sure it is actually harder on your lungs.

What I am trying to say is quite often things that society condone are actually bad for the individuals and society. And via versa.

Going to school and getting good grades may sound responsible. However, that means you'll end up with huge college debt. It's not fiscally responsible. It makes you stick to an occupation.

Being an internet marketeter is a different story.

Never using drugs may sound responsible. However, drugs often open up perspective you don't see before. That improves your income.

That sounds like a whole lotta rationalizations, lol.

...

Going to school and getting good grades may sound responsible.

Because it is.

...However, that means you'll end up with huge college debt.

Not necessarily at all.

...It's not fiscally responsible.

Yes, it is.

Not necessarily at all.

...Being an internet marketeter [sic] is a different story.

Yeah, like a kid blowing off his academics (and therefore never learning how to spell) because he imagines he'll be signed by the NBA is "a different story."

No, they destroy your brain.

...That improves your income.

Entirely the opposite.

Dude somebody got 3.8 GPA from UW Madison. No job.

Then he got back to his country start his own internet biz and make it. Learn programming online.

High IQ.

Most of what societies say are good are good only for middle IQ guys. When you have high IQ it's a different game.

Most drugs do not destroy your brain. Only Cocaine and Heroine does and only if you use it alot.

Most soft drugs, like LSD, extasy and ganja doesn't destroy anything.

Dude, LeBron James never went to college. Very high-paying job...

Which path has the most reasonable expectation of success?

The path that has more reasonable chance to succeed is the path least traveled.

If too many travel the same path, the money sucks. Too much competition.
