Case of Hep. A identified in Urbana, Springfield Frisch's employee

Apparently the up and comers in the medical profession feel Hep A is a "no big deal" disease, I have a nurse in training relative who was giving me the "pffftt" the other day when talking about restaurant cleanliness, "Oh, it's good to get it and develop the antibodies so you'll never get it again blah blah blah". So meanwhile let's just continue to let carriers of it make our food I guess.

Yeah well when I'm out to eat I don't want the help giving me a helping of what's been coursing through their bloodstream that they likely picked up at a hole in a port-o-john with who knows who on the other end, I'm not saying every cook in the kitchen is a freak but there's a lot of gays in the kitchen

Red Hen Restaurant 86ā€™s Sarah Huckabee Sanders

I remember that, the "news" doesn't, the pieces of shit. The two gay cooks stood back there and said "ewwwww, Sarah Huckabee Sanders" and ordered the manager to go make her go away, which was probably good for her there's no telling WHAT they had running through THEIR bloodstreams, or Habitrailed colons.

I was a dishwasher, went on to being a cook, went to school for heating and air and as a result of that got back into kitchens but from the other side working on equipment and have been in and around them my whole working career, know theres a lot of gays in it, it's time anyone identified as gay or freaky in other ways needs tested for STD's before they go cutting a finger making a salad and saying "it's got to go out, that was our last egg ready for a chef, those chills I got are just the AC working too hard, gotta get the maintenance guy in here....."

And because it "wouldn't be fair" to only check gays and the other freaks making up the Alpha Bit list (LGBTQ/RSTUVWXY and Z's), we might as well just start checking anyone who comes in contact with food, it's a health issue, it's an item you are putting into your body, you don't want the person preparing your pizza to be picking a meth scab right before hand "they'll just think it's a piece of sausage, it's got to go out, we're almost out of cheese" .

Cooks need to be screen for STDā€™s b/c fags or something. lol. You should like a paranoid idiot. Perhaps it is best if you just cook at home b/c at least then youā€™ll be safe from the roving packs of homos in the back of the house.

I do, I even make my dog's food, I don't trust what's coming in the can.

How many people have contracted an STD in this nation from at eating in a restaurant? You appear to be looking to add a silly and burdensome regulation to a whole industry for a problem that doesnā€™t really appear to exist.

You know, on my first ship, there was an MS (Mess Specialist, aka cook) who had herpes. Whenever he had a breakout, he was shifted from the galley to the MS office to work. And, he was restricted to the ship when he had a breakout.

I think the OP is worried about nothing to be honest.

It's out there, it's just the "news" selectivly reports on these things. If it had something to do with Russian dressing they might be more interested though I suppose
I don't get it...are you having intercourse or sharing needles with your local restaurant's staff?

No, but they are in the cooler.

You donā€™t think someone contracting an STD from eating at a restaurant would be in the news? Or at least go viral (lol)? That restaurant would be slapped with a lawsuit so fast it would make your head spin. Worry about real shit. Or donā€™t. I really donā€™t care.

I want the people preparing the nations food in restaraunts, people who have grievances against Trump and his supporters and might spit on or worse the food they are preparing to be tested for STD's, because they're likely carriers of them and shouldn't be touching peoples food.

The reason I included the Huckabee story was a two way tie in A) who's in the kitchen and B) the spite they were showing thereby making me at least question the quality of anything they would have served had she actually been seated and served.

Cooks need tested for STD's, if they don't have any, they have nothing to worry about.

ANYTIME that someone gets sick from a restaurant, it makes the news. Remember when Chipotle was making news for unsafe food? If it was an STD that was being transmitted, that would be even bigger news. Especially because STD's don't normally transmit via food, which would get the doctors and scientists interested in a hurry.

Which is why the OPā€™s concern is silly, convoluted, and expensive.

Hep A isn't exactly the common cold, it is common among dirty people though, people who shouldn't be handling your food. Unless you're the type that picks up sandwiches, dusts off the floor debris and says "5 second rule my ass".

How many people in this nation have contracted Hep A as result of eating in a restaurant? Show me numbers. Please donā€™t give me any of this bullshit about the media doesnā€™t report it or some other dreadfully lame excuse for your lack evidence.

Selectivly so, they still to this day "aren't sure" where the contamination came from, not at Chipotle nor the general Romaine outbreak even though 90% of Romaine comes from one area and it's known human feces is the problem, just not reported.

Still, even though Chipotle is still denying it, doesn't change the fact that when people started getting sick, it was widely reported. And, if there was some STD out there that could be food borne, you can bet your ass it would get quick attention from doctors and scientists.

Where is the follow up though? I'm not satisfied with an "we dont know". The "news" should still be out there digging, if they're "the watchdog of the people" like they like to claim.

I claim that in that case, they don't want to report either on the human fertilizer in the Romaine feilds, or something they DID find at Chipotle, but decided to "keep quiet"
