For years, discussions have been taking place about the whereabouts of the house where Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, and spent the first three years of his life: the residents of Braunau are tired of being constantly associated with the town’s dark past, while Nazis from all over Europe always proudly pose in front of the house and shoot souvenir photos. Even over a Name change of the city is considered, to escape the brown mind and thus also finally the curse of the past.

After the demolition of the Hitler apartment, a new building is to be erected that in no way resembles the original house. The area should not stand empty: after all, history, unpleasant as it is, cannot simply be erased.

This is what I have to say about it.

They're the ones who for thousands of years crammed a god of a hateful and exclusionist view of the bible down the throats of all Europeans, they're the ones who thought of themselves as better than everybody else who inhabits Europe.
They're the ones who stared across the classrooms of their schools analyzing people's faces to determine who is different than they so that they could exclude people.
They're the ones who created Hitler.
They're the reason why it took two world wars to shut down Europe and creating a cold war between two Non-European global superpowers.
They should live with the scar.

Demolish the house and build a new house. Give the new house to blacks because, you know, slavery.

And tear down all those icky reminders like the concentration camps, and build some new apartment buildings for all the poor migrants. Because you know, "out of sight, out of mind."

We've already done the same thing to most of the Confederate statues and monuments so the Democrats won't realize they're the ones who were the "bad guys." We've also whitewashed communism in this country to make it look like a spiffy idea, so why not give the Nazis the same convenience?

We've witnessed Nazi's storm the Capitol after their Douchenfuhrer inspired them to riot, and the Republican Party has spent two years trying to whitewash their bloody insurrection attempt.
