The left wing opposition to photo ID requirement to vote stating it stops elderly, students and minorities from voting is bunk. "25% of Afro-Americans do not have photo ID?" BS. There is not an elderly, student or poor minority or drunk or crack head that do not have a photo ID and if they dont they should not have the right to vote.
To get drivers license you need a birth certificate and your picture taken. A photo ID to work on most jobs, get unemployment, get and cash your Social Security, welfare check, WIC, to be a student, to get your food stamps and even to get food from the food bank. To get food from the food bank you need a photo ID such as US passport, US Military ID or dependent card, Native American Tribal document, Mexican or Canadian ID (consulate issued photo ID) Veterans Administration Photo card, school ID. Photo ID is opposed by the left because it stops fraud. My disabled grand daughter had a student ID and now a DMV photo ID to cash her SSI check and employee check.
Photo IDs are only as close as your DMV for no more than $10. There is no excuse for any human being in the country should be without a photo ID.
