What republicans should do is quit looking to restore the nation by the use of political processes. The nation had tipped into dependency. Those who are receiving government aid and those who look forward to receiving government aid now outnumber those who are providing the taxes paying for that aid. What republicans should do is stop feeding the beast providing all that government largesse. Find a way, become more creative. This is a war, it is an economic war. It still needs fighting, but perhaps a different way of fighting. Stop looking to the ballot box, it has stopped working.
