Republicans why do you think the GOP will take the White House in 2016?

Did you miss the black thugs outside the precinct in Philly?

You mean the ones who were there for a whole of five minutes before the police arrested them?

Did you miss the military absentee votes that somehow did not get counted in Fla?

You mean the ones that were mailed AFTER the deadline?

Did you miss the fact that the media took sides and presented lies as fact?

That never happened. Both sides lie and the media lets them get away with it.

Yes, obozo and the dems stole the election. They are very good at it.

You mean they made you nominate a crazy old warmonger and a Mormon corporate bloodsucker?

You guys lost because you had horrible candidates and you fucked up the country. And when Hillary beats your next horrible candidate, you'll whine about that too.

The GOP has a very strong list of possible candidates. The dems have one old, tired, angry, lying, corrupt, incompetent, criminal.

HRC is a very bad candidate, but there are about 40% of voters who would vote for if she pissed in their coffee. That is really pathetic.

We only need one. One is all we're nominating. Meanwhile, the Republicans are gonna chew each other up as they each claw their way to the top.

Putting aside the obvious erosion of the ideology demonstrated by the changing attitudes on the confederate flag and gay marriage, there is more to address about 2016.

The second highest polling GOP candidate, Donald Trump, is nothing short of a clown. His placement in the polls says a lot about the republican base. He's appealing to them because he is an emotionally charged, unapologetic douche bag. Republicans love their brutish, machismo candidates like Trump. Why be a practical candidate that focuses on real issues and FACTS when you can boost the base by simply calling Mexicans mother fuckers? Of course everyone else in this country knows he is a dumbass which is why he has no chance in hell of becoming president.

GOP Candidates push laughable and ridiculous ideas like building a huge border wall and having Mexico pay for it or abolishing the Supreme Court and IRS. All of that sounds that sounds so rousing to the overly emotional, knuckle dragging Tea Party base so they throw their support to these candidates. Of course anyone of reasonable intelligence knows that NONE of those proposals will ever happen regardless of whether or not one of those clowns make it to the White House. Those people - democrats and independents - want nothing to do with those candidates because they see them for the clowns that they are. ObamaCare may not have a majority popularity right now, but among the people who have actually used it, it is quite popular. Don't you think that it is very possible that by the time 2016 comes around a majority of Americans will come to embrace it?

Look, Hillary is far from perfect. She has a questionable record. However, she still has viability. She is still polling strongly And like other democrats she strike a popular tone. They address real problems people care about like the growing income inequality, big money in politics, climate change, and staggering wages. Don't you think people will respond more to that kind of platform?

Go back to 2007 and look at John McCain polling numbers versus Rudy Giuliani...

Go back to 2011 and look at Mitt Romney polling numbers against the field that year...

Now what does this have to do with Donald Trump?

Because the clown is polling well now does not mean anything, and the fact is he will most likely drop from the GOP race and could run third party if he see himself falling out of favor with the GOP.

Hillary is polling well because you do not have anyone really big running against her and Sanders has no chance of taking the nomination.

So as the polls tell us this or that the fact is they are meaningless at this point. By September of next year we will know the GOP candidate, and if it is someone that is not Ted Cruz or Ted Cruz like then Hillary Clinton will have a hard time winning the White House.

John Kasich is my choice for the GOP...

I agree Trump is ultimately meaningless for the nomination, but my point is that his current popularity says a lot about the other GOP nominees. They, like Trump, have absolutely nothing new to offer in terms of policies. They just spout off non sense. That non sense will get them nowhere with democrats and independents.

Nah. Gowdy won't dare touch her out of fear of being Vince Fostered.

Why vote for a republican? I keep seeing that question! So maybe it is blasphemy, but let me answer it for the poster who keeps asking it.

I don't think republicans are worth squat if they are rinos. Both the rinos and far left dems control Washington. There isn't a whole lot to like about either party, because if you boil it down, neither of them are addressing the countrys real problems. Both of them are using sleight of hand to get you thinking about everything/anything other than what our real problems are. Here we all are in debt up to our ears, and they want you to concentrate on other things that they purposely put in the pipeline to distract you.

And so, what is the blasphemy? Political partys are just a moniker; how they govern is the true statement of their worth..........therefore, if you took the monikers away, in domestic issues, Barack Obama and GW are one in the same. If this country survives that long, 100 years down the road these two Presidents will be blamed for everything this country is experiencing now economically.

Everyone on here wants to protect their party, but truth be told, GW is almost Obama, and Obama is almost GW. Take away the Iraq war and a few tax cuts, what you have had is 16 years of GW, or 16 years of Obama, take your pick! They both spend like there is no tomorrow driving us deep in debt. Both fooled with social policies expanding them, or creating a new one, and both the American public hate to the tune of 65%. Both were folksy just like Carter, and both screwed the pooch on almost everything; just like Carter.

And so the question is asked; why vote for a republican this time? Here is why...................and why not....................the democrat, if Hilly or Sanders, is the same failed economic policies as Obama Bush, or Bush Obama, you put whomever you want to lead the disgrace. You can look back in history; and history teaches all things, and KNOW that socialism does not work if you want a vibrant economy. Sanders would do this, Obama has done some of this, and Bush decided to try it.

Now, if Jebster wins the nomination, you have 2 peas in a pod, almost; if he is running against Hilly or Sanders. Personally, I can't vote for any of the 3. The moniker on all of them over their heads on TV should be, "useless, helpless, and hopeless!" But, if one of the younger candidates comes out and wins, you will return to much of the economics that made this country the greatest the world had ever seen.

Oh sure, many will try and scare you that they will screw up everything, and they could..................if they continue to IGNORE THE CONSTITUTION. But, if the new President follows the constitution as most conservatives promise they will do, unlike Obama you will have almost 600 people standing between him/her and their plan for America. If they convince YOU the citizen that they are correct, then it is OUR job to call our representatives and demand a thumbs up.

In the process, most conservatives want to return a lot of power to the states. That is a key element for everyone. Do you want Washington telling you constantly what to do, when they have no idea what each sector of the country needs? Since when does one size fits all?

You, as an active citizen, can surely have a much larger impact through wise idea an debate in your local, and state governments, then any impact you can/could have nationally. I am sure that each of you regardless of democrat or republican, would love to go to a meeting where you could debate the good or bad of any policy where it could have an impact of how people vote, instead of debating here thinking either Obama or GW will hear your words. And even if they did, we all know, THEY AREN'T GOING TO LISTEN!!!!!!

Vote for someone who is going to return power TO YOU, and not keep it in Washington where all they have is the Hillys, Mconnells, Pelosi's, or Chris Christies of the country. There is absolutely no way mathematically that these few people; even if Einsteins, can be smarter collectively than 300,000,000 of us. If you actually think that these small sample size of people are somehow smarter than 300,000,000 of us; then you must have a low opinion of yourself, and your fellow Americans.

And that my good person is why, I will vote conservative republican, and I suggest you do too, unless they put up someone like Hilly named Jebster. If the republicans do this, than they are worse than the democrats because he does NOT stand for everything they claim they do.

And oh, the GOP should win easily. The only way the democrats SHOULD be able to win is giving away more free stuff. Even democrats have to know that if you need to bribe people to vote for you, then your message must suck, but one never knows about the far left.

Probably because pissing in your coffee is better than pissing on your life.

After three recessions and three wars, I'm certainly not going to vote for another member of the Bush Crime Family.

Buyers remorse over Obama. Confederate flag is a non-issue. Liberals are gloating over it, but now you will see more confederate flags than you have ever seen before. People are sick of crybaby, "I'm a victim" bullshit politics.

Recent voter trends do not favor the GOP(the Obama election/re-election)

However, historically, it is rare for Democrats to win after serving 2 terms. (at least without an assassination) I think Roosevelt was the only Dem to do this--winning 5(?) elections in a row.

I think the GOP need a libertarian candidate. However, their treatment of Ron Paul and lukewarm reception of Rand Paul tend to suggest they refuse to compromise on any issue. They wish to run the gauntlet and this should not win the white house.

“Let me just say a few words to my friends in the Republican Party about extremism. When you deny the right of workers to come together in collective bargaining that’s extremism. When you tell a woman that she can not control her own body, that’s extremism. When you think a woman is a child and can’t purchase a contraceptive, that is extremism. When you give tax breaks to billionaires and refuse to raise the minimum wage, that’s extremism.”... Bernie Sanders ...a Fk off to the GOP...

Yes, let's nominate the Commie Twit, and make sure the GOP gets to complete the Corporatization of America.

Fact is, Unions have alienated most workers... that's why workers don't have a high opinion of them.

And while I think every woman should have the right to control her own body, most people think Abortion is a damned poor method of birth control.
