What was that about the swamp again?

Senate GOP Gives Huge Gift To Big Banks, Stripping Consumers Of Right To Sue As A Group.

Damn the consumers.

Senate Republicans on Tuesday voted to overturn a new regulation that would have allowed class-action lawsuits against big banks and credit card companies. The vote effectively handed Wall Street another win as the Trump administration seeks to dismantle former President Barack Obama’s legacy.

Nonsense, the legislation in question just lifts the ban instituted by the CFPB on forced arbitration clauses in account contracts, if you don't you want to agree to the terms of an account then you don't have to sign it, this was just another overreach by a Federal Regulatory Agency.

That rule was idiotic as it would have opened the door for every Tom, Dick and Harry to sue banks over bullshit and we have FAR more than enough frivolous lawsuits in this country. This rule was just a gift to lawyers, not to mention the costs of the liabilities and lawsuits gets passed on to every consumer with an account at these institutions.

The source (HuffPost) was the first clue that this was yet another hysterical "Sky Is Falling because of Republicans" post.

Facts be damned.....the Left has it's agenda of destroying the nation and Christians so they have no need for the truth.....it's "inconvenient"

Not sure what this has to do with Christians but IMHO the lemmings of the left are just cheer leading yet another intrusion by government into the private sector in an effort to "protect" people from themselves, while at the same time enriching one of their most favored constituencies (lawyers).

Personally I miss the good ole days, when government was small, people had to take personal responsibility for their own decisions and the gene pool was culled by the fact that stupidity was most often lethal.
