Republicans Uncertain Who Should Run in 2012

1. Obama is a socialist.
2. Obama is a muslim, his bro said so, and by their reckoning the faith of the father sets the sons faith...muslim. He went to madrassa in Indonesia.
3. Obama is NOT a Mormon, I was saying that if we can elect Obama, Romney is not a stretch.
4. Romney is more of a conservative than Obama is, that's all that counts in 2012.

Obama is not a socialist. You obviously have no real concept of what is socialist if you believe the guy is one. He's not even left leaning enough to be Liberal anymore, never mind socialist.

2.) Obama's father is a deadbeat dad. You seem to forget that no child is apart of any real religion to be technical since they do not have the ability to comprehend the choice of religions and choose one. Obama is a Christian, get over it. And here's the deal. You can complain about Wright, or you can complain about how you think he's a Muslim. To do both is doublethink.

3.) Romney is a Mormon, that will cost him more Republican votes than anything, remember that.

4.) Romney is not more Conservative than Obama. When Romney was Governor of MA, they were the same on almost every issue I'm willing to bet. Romney is another Nixon or what would you consider another Obama, someone willing to support whatever popular position to win.

OK. After ~5 vodka martinis I'm ready for bed. You win the argument. G'night, I hope someone wins in 2012, especially if they're not a muslim or from another planet.

I cant imagine why we are uncertain who should run when no one has announced their candidacy yet. I mean we are supposed to just see into the future and know who we are supposed to pick as if the next 2 years before the primaries arent going to influence our decisions at all.

This is so incredibly stupid it's not funny. Heck the people they think are going to be the front runners could be dead in two years. No one can accurately predict whats going to happen (unless God tells them). So whats the point in speculating when there are so many variables?

Ron Paul was winning all the debates in the polls.

Until he got booted from the debates for not being popular.

????????????????

Or until he only received one percent of the vote in the primaries

It would be an interesting study to find how something like that can happen.

You want to do a study to find out why someone who wins an internet/texting poll of a debate can barely get one percent of the vote in the primaries? Seriously?

We may as well just do a study on whether drunk pigs are psychic. It serves just as much purpose but will be a heck of a lot more entertaining.

First we get the complaint that the campaigns are too long (which they are), then the next moment the notion that because one party or the other hasn't an anointed "front runner" 2 3/4 friggin' years out, is some kind of evidence of disarray?

Whatever!

They want as much time as possible to run the candidate through the smear machine. Would nice around here though. We could have X number of "John Doe" threads daily to replace the Palin ones.:eusa_eh:

I don't view our elections as entertainment. I think there is a disconnect someplace that is worth looking at. Ralph Nader, for example, in standard polls got numbers sometimes into the teens but his votes tallied at less than 1%.That is a huge disparity. It would be nice to know how something like that can happen.
