Republicans: The Kings of hypotheticals

Ahhh.. but the personal beliefs of 'alternative lifestyles' and sexual promiscuity are put in the forefront in schools...
Can't ridicule a child with beliefs that go in line with PETA when dealing in science/biology class
Not allowed to say anything that may offend those choosing the gay lifestyle...might hurt their feelings about their beliefs... but allowed to henceforth go against and say things against the personal beliefs of religion....
hence the hypocrisy....

And yes 'homosexual acceptance' is taught
No offense...but I'd love to reach through the computer and smack you upside the head. PETA has nothing to do with letting kids opt out of cutting up frogs or fetal pigs. I never HEARD of PETA when I was a kid...the kids that didn't want to do it tended to puke or pass out or burst into hysterical tears.

And so they are "excused" and forced to take an F for the day or write a term paper.

Diamond Dave, disagreement in the class room with your child's religious beliefs is not necessarily mocking. It may be very well called "disagreement". Is your child mocking everybody else's belief I think is the correct question here?

Science teachers continually mock persons of religious faith?

Show me anywhere that a science teacher did that....he would be out on his ass

Providing scientific answers is not spitting on your religious beliefs. However, insisting on teaching of religious principles in lieu of science is mocking all of our intelligence

According to diversity in schools man Mr. Jennings, we will discuss homosexuality and sexual practices in school, but no mention of religion. It all comes down to science's answer of random events versus a Devine creation. Random sound very "sciency" to you?

and sexual practices

I suspect that's a flat out lie.

I suspect you are right. However, he never answered my question to see the document he is getting this information from. I do not knw if this was a dodge on his part or not.

In public schools? PROVE IT.

We only need to look at the last eight years to understand what Republicans have done for, uh, I mean TO the country.

It's the current crop of Republicans that want the President to fail, that want more wars. They cut taxes for the rich even while they were starting the last TWO wars and sent our kids off to war with old and rusty equipment letting the injured come back to moldy hospitals, even while they were figuring out ways to cut veterans benefits.

There is no way you can compare Democrats to these loons. They never give up. They have an entire laundry list of things they want to do to damage this country.

Cut education
Replace science with mysticism
More tax cuts for the rich
No work on American infrastructure
Torture
More war

They never stop.

More like your LIES never stop

1) No free education for adults... less federal stipulations on education to keep education at the state and local levels... that is not about "cutting education"
2) Nobody is for replacing science.. merely not using government run schools to stomp all over the individual beliefs of families.. hell, you wish to mandate respect for 'alternative lifestyles', but you can't have the same respect for those of another belief??? Typical
3) How about a less complex and non-punishment based system of equal % taxation in combination with the reduction of government spending and government programs?
4) Work on infrastructure is being frowned upon?? Nope.. special interest projects, healthcare for non-contributors at the expense of contributors, THOSE are things being frowned upon
5) Name one person who has condoned torture.. and we're not talking about little things you WISH were deemed as torture
6) More war?? No.. Try defending the US, allowing the military to have the resources to get the job done, not handcuffing the military, not allowing despot regimes to run amok without extreme consequences, peace thru superior firepower, etc... nobody WANTS war, but we do wish to get rid of these 'no war for any reason' and 'appeasement' mantras

Most States Are Cutting Education — Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

1.Thirty-six states have cut education or proposed such cuts because they face massive, devastating budget deficits in this recession. A recession brought on by Republican "give to the rich" and "remove all regulations" policies.

2. Spending a single minute on "imaginary creation" is one minute taken from teaching science.

3. I don't even want to hear about taxes from a Republican. They have moved the nations wealth from the middle class and redistributed it to the very rich in the greatest heist in history.

4. Republicans don't even know what a "special interest" project is. They laugh at a study to find out why the honeybee population is dying off. Even though half of all our fruits and vegetables would disapear with the honeybee and that's only one. I can think of a dozen without even going and looking.

5. Cheney, Cheney, that's two. Republicans will never call torture, torture. They simply won't admit it.

6. How did invading Iraq make the US safer? Iraq was a buffer against Iran. Now that is gone. The Christian population had been nearly wiped out in Iraq and the Churches burned. Islam is the "national religion" by constitution. Women are now wearing bags and can't go anywhere without a male relative escorting them. Iraq has been an unparrelled disaster for the US. A terrible, terrible disaster. A country that destroys it's own Christian population will NEVER, EVER be friends with us. Try to reason out why.

And, the 7 year head start Bush gave Bin Laden? That is a national disgrace. I can't believe Republicans defend that. They have to be insane. I can't see what else it could be.

2) Your proof of imaginary is what? You have the right to dictate squashing of personal religious or faith belief how and why? Many great scientists and researchers still had personal faith in something more.
3) You avoid because you don't actually want a discussion about true equality... you support a redistribution and punishment system
4) Government has responsibility over honeybees, honeybee farms, and all WHY? Nice attempt at distraction
5) Show any statement condoning actual torture and not what YOU want deemed as torture
6) How did letting Iraq continually violate cease-fire agreements make us any safer or uphold our standing even 1 millimeter. Is not Iraq free to set up a government based on the people in their populous?? Funny, if we were trying to force a copy of our exact government, I have a feeling you would be complaining about that too....

You leftist parrot

The first and third examples are law suits because somebody within the public school system attempted to do something that was not authorized. The second is a "plan" that was reported more than a year ago. So again, PROVE that their are classes being taught, that children must attend, much like mathematics, etc. in our public schools.

Again PROVE it?? Showed the examples... These are in health classes.. these are brought up in assemblies on 'acceptance'... and lawsuits against teachers and counselors have been being filed for a while now

And as stated... you want it when it fits your political agenda, but not when it is in opposition..

And also.. in the third example.. it shows a call for empathy, respect and tolerance for their views in school... yet such tolerance when dealing with 'Christian' beliefs is not promoted... hence hypocrisy

And from personal experience.. my 14 year old has stated how they promote the alternative lifestyle as 'natural'... when no "scientific evidence" supports this claim.... yet when the shoe is on the other foot, hmmm... .

Sorry, I was busy. Here you go: Judge upholds homosexual cirriculum in Maryland Schools.

Its almost surreal reading this thread, its like watching battling retards.

BOTH PARTIES SUCK ASS, NEITHER DOES GOOD THINGS FOR US, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

For every chimp there is a Barney Frank, for every Bubba there is a Bill Frist, the list of these assholes is endless.

And they all suck.

But it is entertaining to watch retards battle.

BTW, I just read an article today about how offensive the term "retard" is.

Which makes me want to use it all the more.

I don't think that story is true, if it is, it is ridiculous. Probably they teach tolerance or something...most of these hysterical articles I find posted on this message board are 99.9% hysteria and .1% truth.

We as parents had options about whether our children were taught about 'safe sex' being OK in the public curriculum... but there was nothing giving us any option to have 'homosexual acceptance' as an optional portion.. and as stated, my daughter did inform that homosexuality was being taught as 'natural', which is not supported by the same scientific 'fact' that you use as a reason for being not sensitive to religious beliefs relating to a curriculum

You don't get your cake and eat it too... but when it comes to a distinct lefty agenda in public schools, that is exactly what is tried most of the time... whether it be this, 'man made global warming' as 'fact', and so many other things

Agreed.

However, the two sides have somewhat different tactics and areas of dominance.

For example, a republican calling a democrat a racist has no teeth. It just gets laughed off. But if a dem calls a rep racist.... :eusa_whistle:

And conversely, a democrat calling a republican unpatriotic has not teeth. It too gets laughed off.

And in the case of the op, it's pretty much just a republican tactic to suggest that dems get away with murder while republicans get busted for jay-walking.

You push "mysticism" and call me a "parrot"? Rich.

There are no "beliefs" in science. This isn't 1882. You have to have your head stuck in a dark and smelly place to still hold to beliefs of "magical creation" over science. The knowledge is out there and easy to find. Determined ignorance is no longer an excuse.

Bee keepers can't afford to research honeybees. That's why the government helps. Could it be any more obvious?

Cease-fire agreements? You just made that up.

Iraq had a government. How was it our right to smash the old one? Now that "Islam" is the national religion and all legislation is to be based on Islam per their constitution, how is their government different than Iran? We destroyed the Iraqi government so they could be Iran. A country that Republicans want to to bomb?

This is why you can't debate Republicans. They don't see what they have done to the world or the way the world is, they see what they want to see, and that includes some imaginary God that has never shown a shred of interest in anything we do. I believe they may be mildly insane. That takes the form of delusion.

You sir, are a complete idiot and buffoon.. and you are possibly the biggest idiot we have had in here since Bobo the AssClown

Made up cease-fire agreements??
Try Resolution 687 (1991)

Do you know what happens when a cease-fire agreement is broken? It authorizes the continuation of military action. Iraq CONTINUALLY violated the cease-fire agreement. The minute they did it the first time, we were AUTHORIZED to continue wiping the floor with them

I push mysticism??? Show me where I have stated any such thing. I will be waiting.

There are no beliefs in science??? ABSOLUTE HORSE SHIT.... There are beliefs in many opposing theories on many scientific principles... Do you want to start going over how many theories have been accepted and subsequently thrown out later??

If bee keepers can't afford it... show me where in the constitution where it gives the federal government the authority to do it... And hmm, many others in the industry have a huge stake in bees as well, I do think that places/companies such as Dole, DelMonte, Birds Eye, etc, who rely on pollination can actually afford it

You sir, should kill yourself... one true way that you can make a positive impact on the world
