A survey commissioned by the Republican National Committee has led the party to a glum conclusion regarding President Donald Trump’s signature legislative achievement: Voters overwhelmingly believe his tax overhaul helps the wealthy instead of average Americans.

By a 2-to-1 margin — 61 percent to 30 percent — respondents said the law benefits “large corporations and rich Americans” over “middle class families,” according to the survey, which was completed on Sept. 2 by the GOP firm Public Opinion Strategies and obtained by Bloomberg News.

The result was fueled by self-identified independent voters who said by a 36-point margin that large corporations and rich Americans benefit more from the tax law — a result that was even more lopsided among Democrats. Republican voters said by a 38-point margin that the middle class benefits more.

All they had to do was read the bill. It was there in Black and White.

Yes, the cuts enabled them to keep more of their own earned money. A huge wrong!

Is that why the economy is doing so well?

It really sucked that corporations got tax cuts so they could hire workers.

Tax cuts are meaningless if you don’t have a job.

Well like the conservative study states, 61 percent figured it out. You just haven't gotten there yet.

In anticipation of new tax cuts. And now it’s doing even better!

The DOW hit another record today hovering around 27,000. Does the crazy left understand that an increase in the DOW translates to more federal revenue? Does the crazy angry left understand that putting more Americans to work translates to a positive federal tax base rather than a negative one? Obama's screwball economic logic and nut case small time projects like "cash for clunkers" resulted in a higher "national debit" and we got nothing for it except a couple of laughs. The only time lefties worry about the "debit" is during republican administrations.

Right, so, in 2009 when Obama got in, the people were anticipating Trump's tax cuts in 2017, so they started to work harder to improve the economy?

You know, lying doesn't help.

What you have to realize is that most Conservatives don’t care that it benefitted the rich more than the middle class and actually damaged the lower class scum. That’s what we wanted it to do.

No, when the Republicans won Congress in 2010 people had hope the economy would get better. Try to keep up.

But the economy was already getting better. You want me to keep up with fake information. It's not happening.

The economy was getting better from 2009 onwards.

You’re right, we don’t get butthurt because something might benefit the rich. Why do you people hate the rich so much? If they get a tax break, good for them, they get to keep more of their own money they earn. Is that concept really so horrible for you loons?

Not sure how that “damages” the lower classes. If the rich have more of their own money they get to invest it or spend it, which creates jobs.

You’re mistaken. I'm a Conservative. I love rich people and this tax cut
