Republicans should refuse stimulus money

The author makes a good point.

I live in Colorado a typically conservative state that actually balances it's budget. If we refuse the money from this stimulus bill--then the taxpayers of this state should have absolutely no obligation in paying it back either.

Jindal Signals Louisiana May Not Take Stimulus Money - Political Hotsheet
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, a potential 2012 GOP presidential candidate, has suggested his state may not be interested in all of the roughly $4 billion allotted to it in the economic stimulus package to be signed by President Obama today.

"We'll have to review each program, each new dollar to make sure that we understand what are the conditions, what are the strings and see whether it's beneficial for Louisiana to use those dollars," Jindal said, according to CBS affiliate WWLTV.

Jindal is scheduled to give the response to the president’s not-exactly-a-state-of-the-union address next Tuesday.

Cool. At least one person is going to give this bill the once over before spending the taxpayers hard earned money.

:clap2:

i answered that already, dipshit.

So you are giving it back because it's such a bad idea, right?

Again, do you or do you not acknowledge the fact that Republicans will still be taxed and that their currency will lose value through inflation whether they receive any of the benefits or not? If they're still going to have to pay for it and are still losing the value of their money then they have the same rights to what's offered by the spending package as the Democrats do.

He doesn't care about that. He wants those against socialism to have to pay more.

Jindal won't refuse the money.

He is like Palin.

He will posture and then show up with hat in hand.
