The framers of our Constitution insisted on freedom of the press for a very good reason. Without it, there will be only state approved press...just like Russia, China, and North Korea Is this really what you want REPUBLICANS?? If not, then shut the F-CK UP about the media!

The constant whining about Trump attacking the media ignores one crucial detail - the press lost the trust of the people on its own long before Trump took office. Trump is giving voice to what people already feel about the press. As one poster pointed out, those complaining about Trump are doing the same damn thing every single time someone mentions FOX news.
The other issue with the OP's complaints is that it also assumes a direct lie - that Trump has taken any steps at all to undermine the freedom of the press. He is vocally attacking them for biased reporting - something that the current media outlets are blatantly obvious about - but that has nothing to do with freedom of the press - the government has taken no measures to censor speech.
Funny that no one complaining here was upset when Obama openly attacked FOX. The hypocrisy is evident.
