Has anyone compared the two? First. Wide Receiver was done with cooperation and knowledge of the Mexican government and they helped track the weapons, Fast and Furious did not. Wide Receiver was about 200 weapons, Fast and Furious, over 2,000 weapons. Wide Receiver was not working and it was pulled back, Fast and Furious was. It working, so the government decided more guns were needed. Fast and Furious was going to be used as a way to gain moe anti-guns added, Wide Receiver was primarily to try to stop weapon going into Mexico.
