Republicans found a clever way to get around pre-existing conditions! You are about to get screwed!

could you explain just what it is you're talking about?

She is talking about the proposed replacement to ACA. In the bill instead of mandating that all insurance companies cover everyone with pre existing conditions, it will be left up to each individual state to decide if insurance companies have to cover everyone regardless of health.
Which of course would make healthcare unaffordable for anyone with a pre-existing condition. And every body get's sick. No one is immortal.

But somehow in Europe they manage healthcare that ignores pre-existing conditions and it costs LESS than the US, I wonder why that is.

Oh yeah, they don't set the system up with as many leeches as possible funneling money out of the system.

In this country, the Democrats set up systems that send out a beacon for leeches. They want as many as they can get because it equates to vote. Related to healthcare, anyone getting a taxpayer funded subsidy to be able to buy insurance they couldn't buy before is a leech. The sad part is that too many of them think they're actually buying it. If you use a subsidy someone other group was forced to fund, the person is no different now than you were before you had coverage. The only difference is they're getting something else they didn't earn.

The Senate figured out how to get around pre-existing conditions.

Leave it to the state. That's their "plan".

Oh, and call it "flexible". Their new code word for "you're f*cked!".
We all know what happens when the Feds drop a responsibility on the states and the state is given an option

We gave states the option of expanding Medicaid too

The states don't take it because it isn't their responsibility either. It's an individual's responsibility to provide for him/herself. Someone unwilling to do so should do without.

It always surprises me how little people who come to the USMB know when it comes to politics. Or else, it's about denial. You have to have an open mind and eventually, the facts will settle out.

For instance, I never believed Trump actually stiffed his workers. Who would do such a thing. Turned he did. Many times. Eventually, there were so many facts in print, the truth simply could not be denied.

You show up every day proving you know nothing about politics.

It's code for it's not one group's responsibility to provide for you what you should be providing for yourself. When in their lives are the leeches going to actually do something for themselves instead of expecting someone else to do it for them?

If you aren't willing to do for yourself, you deserve to do without.

The "pre-existing conditions" thing has joined "minimum wage" as a reliable litmus test for stupidity.

The buzz words they use, 'flexible' and 'choice'. The choice is they leave it to the states to deny coverage to people and do away with all the provisions of Obamacare that people like. Why? Because local press for a state that throws millions off of healthcare is miniscule compared to the national coverage of Republicans in Congress ending 25 million people's healthcare.

A national shell game. "Guess where the pea is! Nope, wrong one! Guess again!".

Another code word - "available". It means "it will cost you a year's pay".

Why do RWNJs still believe this lie?

Before ObamaCares, you had no choice but to pay for the health care of others.

With ObamaCares, each person must pay for their health care but with subsidies.

So, you pay 100% under the Repubs or a small percentage with ObamaCares.

Typically, RWNJs choose to pay more and call it a win.

Wrong again.

Leaving it to the states is trump's way of giving Big Pharma and Big Insurance charging sky high prices while saying he's working to bring prices down.

Read the small print on congress website.

If someone is getting a subsidy, they still aren't paying for their healthcare.

Why do you bleeding hearts still focus on the amount. It's not the amount, it's that any amount is being paid at all. There's a solution for that. Don't force anyone to pay for another person's healthcare and when someone doesn't have it, contact all you bleeding hearts that claim you believe people without it should get it so you can voluntarily pay.

Typical LWNJ believe that believing others should be forced to pay anything for another person on this issue means the same thing as if you did it yourself. Nothing like taking credit for something you didn't do. That's why you're bleeding hearts. All talk and no action of your own.

Thanks for proving what I've said for years that you bleeding heart Liberals don't like personal responsibility. When I said above that it's an individual responsibility to do for yourself what you should be doing for yourself your response was "wrong".

If someone isn't willing to do for him/herself, why do you say it becomes the responsibility of others?

You should shake your head at being such a Liberal POS.

If someone won't do for him/herself, they should do without. If you aren't willing to personally provide to that person what you say he/she should have, they should do without. I don't owe them a damn thing nor do I give two shits whether or not someone unwilling to provide what they should be providing to themselves gets it.

If you rely on the government to do for you what you won't do but should be doing for yourself, you're a fucking leech. If you won't feed yourself/your kids, provide clothing to yourself/your kids, provide healthcare for yourself/your kids, etc., you're a fucking leech.

Leaving to the states doesn't work either. Neither state, nor federal, government should have the power to dictate our financial decisions. What we need is for the federal government to use the Commerce clause as it was intended, and bust up all the regulatory fiefdoms created by the states.

We are about to get screwed? I've got news for you, we all got screwed when Obama took away our perfectly good healthcare and put in his idea of what is best. That's when the screwing was done.

How is it that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS SO GREAT.

But state governments suck ?

You really think they are populated with very different animals ?

Please tell us.
