Why is it that Republicans regularly abuse power and act corrupt when in charge? Sarah Palin abused her power, Alberto Gonzales abused his power and lied and pretended not to recall anything that happened under his watch yet was lauded as the being a "great" Attorney-General, George W. Bush, lets not even go there, we all know his abuses, especially the invasion of privacy of Americans and his consigning of authorizing torture, Donald Rumsfeld's abuses of power and corruption are also well documented, authorizing torture in the form of making inmates stand up for hours because he allegedy stands up for hours. Dick Cheyney for his hand in consigning torture and misleading the American people and soldiers about Iraq as wel as his and Rumsfeld's stubborn refusal t0 take into consideration the advice offered by commanders in the field.

Was Nerwt Gingrich the only honest Republican the last 15 years?

    Another timely thread there shit-for-brains.

Perhaps you can muse on about the Harding presidency too while you're at it?

And Blago was a charming play by the rules altar boy?

Palin not playing by the rules? Maybe you should look closer to the douche bag corruptor who brought erroneous charge after charge (which she passed with flying colors) in order to defame her, cause her to spend a ton to defend herself and just harass her!

Oh you need court documented evidence to proove they cheat?

In an Aug. 13 memo the court made public Friday, Kris Wolfe, the Republican National Committee Midwest political director, wrote Lanny Griffith, the committee's Southern political director, and said of the Louisiana campaigning:

"I know this race is really important to you. I would guess that this program will eliminate at least 60-80,000 folks from the rolls. . . . If it's a close race . . . which I'm assuming it is, this could keep the black vote down considerably."

The list was created by cross-checking voter registration and criminal records. Of the more than 47,000 voters on the potential felon list, Hispanics made up one tenth of 1 percent - this in a state where nearly 1 in 5 residents is Hispanic.

Florida Secretary of State Glenda Hood issued a written statement Saturday saying the exclusion of Hispanics was "unintentional and unforeseen."
