I never said homosexuality was a disease - I said that acting on homosexual desires is a choice, as is drinking.
Personally I see homosexuality as an evolutionary kill switch, a genetic mechanism to weed out unwanted genes from the species. A self-healing property in our genetic code that is triggered to keep bad genes from replicating.

Homosexuals do no reproduce. Homosexuals cannot produce a family without artificial means. The purpose of creating a nurturing environment to produce and raise children is absent. This doesn't mean that homosexuals can't be part of a family, my gay uncle growing up was one of my favourites - but homosexuality cannot be the basis of a family - biological reality exists.

In the vast majority of cases the father is long gone for whatever reason. The woman is not forbidden to have a man in the home, although if she does, it is unlikely to be the father. If that's the case, they may be eligible for a companion program- Assistance for the Working Poor. They system is not designed to break up families, so again, you have no idea what you're talking about.

The problem is Christ never promoted a governing body to take the place of the role of the "individual" people to sacrificially give to those they see in their own local communities who have a need. Charity comes with no specific income status, and it's not just the responsibility given to the rich, there is no scriptural example that lays such responsibility inclusively and solely on the wealthy but for all.
Always an attempt to parse what the bible says to fit a world view that allows poor treatment of the poor and worshiping the wealthy. Jesus said 'whatever you do to the least of these my brothers you do also to me'. That is pretty clear yeah? So if you ignore the poor when you have ability to help them then you can't claim to be Christian. You know, a follower of Christ. And since there are always poor and those in need, then anyone with wealth cannot be a Christian because you would be ignoring 'the least of these my brothers' while laying up treasure here on Earth.
