Republican leadership on how to stop the oil gusher crisis

Yes, it's an acceptable risk.

How do you even get out of bed in the morning?

What is it exactly that you have at risk?
My life, every time I venture out of my house.

Hell, a truck could lose its brakes and smash into my car, when I'm not even looking!

Life's tough, shit happens, wear a helmet.

You take a risk every time you wake up in the morning... every time you cross the street... and every time you stick your face in a fan....

So is this then the official Republican reaction to the oil gusher...a collective yawn?

Fascinating.

nice strawman ravi...lets see...dems have the WH and both houses, but what does ravi do...she creates a thread for the sole purpose of baiting a republican response just so she can deflect off the inadequate government (run by dems now) response to this disaster....

if bush was in office, you woudl be blaming him for everything

What do you stand to lose in this oil spill?
The same thing I stand to lose when a jet airliner crashes.

Then again, I don't poop my pants about the commercial aviation industry when those rare events happen, either.

OK? What's that?

It is more irrelevent like if an airliner crashed into a million bird floating chicken farm and killed all the chickens but only 20 or so of the passengers...and the airliner had extra fuel tanks ...like 10 milllion gallon tanks...and the fuel killed all the fish in the ocean around the floating chicked ranch and then killed a million more birds on the shore....or would that be more rellevent?:cuckoo::cuckoo:

No, you begging the question is irrelevant.

As long as we have imperfect technologies invented by imperfect people, we're going to have accidents like this.

The horse is out of the barn....Oh yeah, wear a helmet.

If only BP had invested a mere $500,000 in a "helmet" .

If only DOI had required it.

So you're in favor of government intrusion into the private sector?

What are you, some kind of beach hating socialist?

Actually, they did and it malfunctioned....BTW, BP merely leased the rig.

But you leftist moonbats keep on trying to make political hay with this...It's what you're really good at.

I don't think you know what "begging the question" means.
I know what it means and although you're not doing so in the strictest sense of the term, that still doesn't make your flimsy attempt to make this about me any more relevant.

I have been to the beach before. I think it would be an improvement to have fewer birds.

I'm in favor of government agencies whose stated mission is to "Protect the Natural Resources of the Country" not omitting an acustic switch from the regs because industry lobbyists were giving them blow jobs.
