Republican Governor John Kasich Says GOP To Blame For Debt Crisis

I'd love to see where you got your numbers Rabbi.
According to the US Treasury
On October 1st 2001, which is the first day of GWB's first fiscal year the debt stood at-
5,806,151,389,190.21
Om October 1st 2009, which is the first day of Obama's first fiscal budget the debt was at-11,909,829,003,511.75

Not to be ignored, there was the Obama stimulus of $792 billion that was legislated in early 2009. The stimulus was to be dispersed over a set number of years and only what was spent goes against each fiscal year. According to the legislation 24% of the stimulus was too be spent during Bush's last fiscal year. So it would be fair not to count the ARRA money spent during Bush's last fiscal year against Bush. 24% of $792 billion is 190.080 billion dollars that should be deducted from Bush's total, which brings Bush's total debt down to $5.913.598 trillion. So under W, the National Debt basically doubled.
Somebody brought up some kind of fiscal surplus, there was never anything close to any kind of surplus.
Below is a chart of how much of the stimulus was to be spent according to the legislation.

So I make a claim about the debt the day Bush left office and the debt as it stands today and you question it on the basis od the debt the day Bush came into office (or started his fiscal year) and the day Obama started his.
You compare oranges to orangutangs and then wonder why I ridicule you.

You ridicule me because your are stupid. You just can't understand facts because you live your sorry life by biased talking points/opinions.
I supply facts with links, you supply nothing as usual.
What you said was the National Debt when Bush left office is total bullshit. You are off by about $1.7 trillion. What counts against all presidents is what the National Debt was during their fiscal years. That has been the measuring stick used by economist. Plus, I deducted ARRA spent during the last fiscal year of Bush's, because that is the honest thing to do.
Let me know when you want to use facts instead of your opinion
You used no facts. You picked the standards you wanted.
Is the debt higher today or lower than when Bush left office, or at any time since?

Everything I used were facts and I supplied the links too.
You couldn't refute the facts and they proved you're full of shit. But about everybody knows all about your credibility. You spew your opinion that are usually based on talking points and that's it.
There are some very good conservative posters on USMB and you aren't one of them, it's not even close.
You are an idiot, That much is fact. I described what happened. You ignored it, You also ignored the question of whether debt today is higher or lower than when Obama took office. Wonder why?

I'm sure you're quite butthurt that I again exposed your bullshit. It must suck to be you.
Regarding Obama's accumulated debt, I have consistently posted the "O" spends like a drunken sailor on steroids. Only an idiot wouldn't be aware of how much debt "O" is responsible for.
I'm not a goose-stepper like you. I think for myself, I don't need or want to ever be driven my ideological talking points. The thing with you Rabbi, anyone who thinks to the left of you, (which really isn't that hard) you surmise to be a lefty. In truth, I'd guess about 80% of Americans must be lefty socialist,:disbelief::laugh: , in your mind.

You exposed nothing but your own stupidity. What I wrote is 100% true and you never refuted it, nor could you because it is simply fact.
So in the end you agree that Obama has spent far more than Bush (more accurately the Democratic Congress since they approve this shit, he just went along) but somehow that makes me stupid. I'm stupid and you agree with me.
What a fucking dunce.

Bush Breaks With 140 Years of History in Plan for Wartime Tax Cut

The proposal commits Bush to a goal unprecedented in U.S. history: cutting taxes in wartime.

With this push to slash taxes during wartime, Bush broke from 140 years of history under presidents of both parties. In every major conflict the United States has fought since the Civil War (and some minor ones), Washington has raised taxes to pay for the war.

How did Obama fund his wars?

Thanks for conceding that Bush didn't fund Iraq or Afghanistan. You're making progress.

Is that what he said? I'm pretty sure he knows congress writes the checks.

You might want to read up on "continuing resolutions" and "supplemental appropriations". Maybe then you can figure out how Congress borrowed the money for Bush's war without a budget that actually had a funding method to pay for the wars.

Of course, Bush and his sales team had done such a masterful job of convincing most Americans that Saddam was ready to nuke us, that the COngress would have given him anything he wanted or said he needed to save us from the boogeyman.

Whats a few trillion when we were about to see a "mushroom cloud" over our cities?

We are 18+ trillion in debt and borrowing money is news to you? And obama's increased spending doesn't matter? How do you function on a day to day basis?

However. Obama's spending wasn't the topic I responded to.
The topic was whether or not Bush put any plans in place to pay for the wars he wanted. He didn't. He relied on supp. appropriations and the CR's. Borrowed money at a pace a drunken sailor would have been proud of.

But seeing as how you want to bring up Obama's profligate spending, why don't you make a list of what Obama has spent all this money ON.

Obama's "increased spending?" You might want to compare the deficit on Bush's last budget to the deficit now.

Obama s Budget Busts Spending Caps - Conn Carroll

President Obama's fiscal 2016 budget will call for a seven percent discretionary spending increase, busting the budget spending caps Democrats and Republicans agreed to in 2011.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest all but confirmed a Thursday Bloomberg story reporting that Obama's next budget, to be released February 2nd, will ask Congress to spend $68 billion more than the current budget limit agreement allows.

Asked if Obama new budget would hike spending, Earnest replied, "The President has been pretty clear about the fact over the last two weeks that now is exactly the right time for us start making some policy decisions that will invest in middle class families."

Thanks to a slowly recovering economy, the federal budget deficit has shrunk from $1.4 trillion in Obama's first year in office, when he passed a trillion dollar stimulus, to just $506 billion today, a figure still higher than any year President Bush was in office.

And according to the Congressional Budget Office, the deficit will continue to fall in 2015, sinking to $469 billion. But thanks to exploding mandatory programs, including Obamacare, the deficit will then begin to rise again, hitting $556 billion when Obama leaves office and reaching $737 billion by 2020.

It is unclear if Obama's new budget will have any new policies that address the deficit explosion set to detonate after he leaves office.

So which is it?

btw, seeing as how none of Bush's spending has had any effect on Obama's deficits, IF a Republican should win the WH, none of Obama's spending will count in the deficits for the new President. Right? All the deficits under a new Republican President would be on the new President. I learned that from you Obama haters. Ain't it cool?

It sounds like you didn't see the article. Set the bong down, clear the smoke and try again. Blaming obama spending on Bush is retarded at this point.
