No way!

She is causing fake news because I was told we needed better background checks and everyone should be forced to train before owning a firearm...

Of course when I asked about how background checks would have stopped most mass shootings the left says they do not care of they do or do not they just want them!

Yep.....there is so much the left wingers know that isn't true....yet they believe it with all their heart.....

The More You Know: Reporter Discovers That Background Checks Work When Denied A Firearms Purchase

A Business Insider reporter, Hayley Peterson, tried to buy a gun at Walmart to test “the placement, selection, marketing, and security of firearms in Walmart's stores, and to learn more about the retailer's processes governing gun sales.” In other words, she wanted to make sure that background checks work. So, she’s going to try and buy a gun, which is something that tens of millions of Americans have already done. And she walked into a Walmart—a family-owned business that’s anathema to the Left.
--------

During the process, Peterson admits that the process was more complicated than the false narrative that’s peddled by the liberal media, the most popular being that it’s easier to buy a gun than cold medicine. Well, her journey just slapped all those clowns who thought that with reality. Background checks are effective. Everyone who goes through a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer to buy their firearms, which is the vast majority of sales in this country, has to undergo a background check. Period. It’s the law (via Business Insider):
-------
But I had only just finished printing my name when she stopped me and asked whether the address on my license matched my home address. I had moved since I obtained my license, and the addresses didn't match.

That was a problem, she said.

To pass the background check, I would need to bring in a government-issued document with my correct address, such as a bill from a state-owned utility or a car registration. (I have never bought a gun, so I wasn't aware of this.)

She apologized, told me the rules were strict around background checks, and asked me to come back another time to finish the purchase.

Like I’ve always said progressives are fucked in the head

Mental health is an area both sides can agree on needs to be improved, not just for mass shooting prevention, but in general.

OK, let's pass Universal Health Care with good mental health coverage.

Well really, what did this little bubble headed woman expect, that she was going to just waltz into a walmart and walk out with a firearm... really?

Is that really how STUPID some "reporters" are?

Yep.

Why go through that much trouble? She could have just gone to MLK Blvd. in any city in this country, and bought one from the local ghetto goblins. They have lots and lots of them.

She can still buy a gun from some guy in the parking lot...no questions asked
Lol
Why would that be any of your business? Does your pussy hurt?

The fact that she was denied over a simple address mismatch should be all the proof these leftists needs that background checks are effective when accurately performed.. Alas, it will not suffice. They'll continue to spew and lap up complete falsehoods like "gun show loopholes" and "fully-semi-automatic military assault weapons with silencers and cop killer bullets". .

That's funny. Lots of firearms transactions take place in small town Walmart parking lots. Bought a couple of them that way myself.

Which is proof that we need stricter gun control laws.

Why? How many mass murderers failed background checks?

In my state all Hand Guns must go through an FFL dealer with background checks, and Fed form 4473. Long arms (rifles and shotguns) can be sold privately ONLY to individuals that can LEGALLY OWN THEM. Sell to a prohibited person, and get caught, and you will GO TO FEDERAL PRISON. So it is already ILLEGAL to do that.

Enforce existing laws, don't make new ones that only further restrict the law abiding. Most crime is committed by Felons already prohibited, who buy guns illegally or STEAL THEM.

Why? Does it make me a criminal if someone else commits a crime? My guns have never shot anyone.

How about this: I think we need to confiscate your car an revoke your driver's license. Studies show that most women drive cars to the abortion clinic. You may not have murdered any unborn children or aided and abetted someone in the murder of an unborn child, but you might at some time in the future.

We need to do this for the children.
