Well hell there a huge surprise......ya not so much

The transparency watchdog noted Tuesday that Democrats received 51 percent of contributions while Republicans received 49 percent, despite the firm's highly publicized links to the GOP, such as a $1 million donation to the Republican Governors Association in August.

News Corp. is the parent company of The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post and Fox News, among others. The firm is currently under scrutiny in both the U.S. and U.K. over allegations its subsidiary News of the World hacked into voice mail accounts and bribed public officials.


So much for FOX being a far right outlet. Turns out they are fun by people that lean to the left just a touch.

also, many republicans in 2008 just could NOT support MCCain....thus obama's support and eventual win.

so, he's still the top recipient....? still makes sense at this point...especially the way the polls look for him vs romney, palin, bachman, and gingrich for a bit....etc....the country, is still picking him, over his competitors....contrary to what those on the ''right'' claim as the future landslide against him.....

it would be more clear if we can review what the corporation itself donated towards obama or PACS for obama or the very elite decision makers within the corporation gave to obama, leaving out the every day joe, employee donations imo.


anyway, i'm still not surprised by the numbers, especially since they are including the every day joe and Josephine's donations in the numbers....

As I recall Barry also did quite well with donations from the Wall St. crowd, you know those "fat cats" he likes to run down when he's looking to keep the class warfare meme simmering. What a class act, huh? Take their political contributions but then make nasty remarks about them to impress his base. Once a community agitator, always a community agitator.

And Jimmy Carter's grin just keeps getting bigger and bigger by the day.

Funny how you always notice it in others, but can't see it in yourself!!! What's hypocritical about accepting the money and then taking the same people to task? You prefer your politicians "bought and paid for", eh?
