Report: Cain voted for Clinton

I'm not sure what the big deal here is. I've never seen Cain try to present himself as some kind of staunch, unwaivering ultra-conservative. Here he differs from Perry, who does try to present himself as such, but whose political history says otherwise. All we see here is that IF Cain supported Clinton at the time (and I'd like to see something tangible to support that claim) then he's not a partisan hack who simply votes for party. All this does is emphasize that Cain has moderate elements to his politics, and it's something that should be embraced in a candidate. One thing I was pleased to see in Obama was his willingness to retain Republicans in his cabinet, because it demonstrated that he was putting the job before the party. I'm equally pleased to see that one of the two GOP candidates I'm inclined to support to remove Obama from office has a history that suggests a similar set of priorities and professionalism in how he might handle his job, if elected.
