In the spring of this year, Al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine called for operatives to set forest fires in the U.S., yet a connection between the terrorist group and our fires was never made. However, The Telegraph is reporting that the connection has been made in Europe.

As fires spring up throughout the European Union, Russia's Federal Security Service claims they are part of Al-Qaeda's "low-cost attack strategy."

Said Alexander Bortnikov: "This method allows (Al-Qaeda) to inflict significant economic and moral damage without serious preliminary preparations, technical equipment or significant expenses." He added that the fires are part of a "forest jihad" certain "extremist websites" have called for.

More than 184,000 hectares of Spain alone were destroyed by fires between January 1, 2012 and September 16.

They must've gotten the idea from human/drug smugglers near the US/Mex border.

LOL more American right wing conspiracy theories. It is false, bullshit, and every other similar word in the dictionary.

I live near one of the biggest fires this year in Spain... we know where it started, how and a person has been arrested for it. He is not muslim, he is not linked to Al Q or anything remotely.
