The number of companies making second trips through bankruptcy has increased in the first two months of this year. According to the wire service, four of the 17 public companies that have filed for bankruptcy this year, including Twinkie maker Hostess Brands and family-style restaurateur Buffets, are repeat filers. That is compared with a half-dozen companies that slid back into Chapter 11 in all of last year.
Good thing the economy has recovered.
